[Resolved] tighten up the social media icons to the left

Need some direction on how to tighten up the social media icons in the footer. They are spread across with too much space in between. Is there a way to tighten them up to the left.

Would appreciate any help please. Thank you.

Welcome smaler! Glad to see you made it to the forums.

The "social" box is given so much space, within which all the icons must fit. That limits their size. So, if you have no plans to change the size of the social icons, we can certainly squeeze them together.

In the file /skins/foundation/templates/element.social.php:

Find:

<ul class="small-block-grid-4 no-bullet nomarg social-icons text-left">

Change to::

<ul class="small-block-grid-8 no-bullet nomarg social-icons text-left">

This tells the skin to divide whatever space the "social" box has for the icons into eight equal parts (instead of four), thus squeezing eight icons onto each row.
