M6VMO Posted February 29, 2020 Share Posted February 29, 2020 Hi, I have the impression version 6.2.9 is playing me up something rotten. Many of the functions work OK, but, in the admin panel, when I want to switch from one function to another, it takes ages, the same for some features on the shop front, one in particular is the contact form, after filling it in, it takes ages to respond, and then, every single time, it gives me an error message, saying "An error ocurred while sending your message, try again", yet all my settings are correct. The same for email, I keep getting the message the connection failed when I test, but after a long time I do get the test emails. By the way, the slow loading has nothing to do with my internet connection, as no other sites load like that. Any further advice please? Thanks in advance. Of course I can, it was very simple really: I switched (In Settings=>Store Settings=>Advanced Tab) from Email with TLS to Email with SSL. The reason why I had to post here was because I tried that solution before and it wouldn't work then (maybe the fault itself was the cause, I don't know).
