jamesmunro2
I would like to be able to force customers to create an account/password because I sell a downloadable product and too many people uncheck the "make an account" box. I found some older answers to this problem, but it seems to only work with older versions of cubecart. Can anyone help me set up cubecart to force registration at checkout? bsmither
Welcome jamesmunro2! Glad to see you made it to the forums. If it is workable for you to have your prices "hidden" until the visitor logs in, there is a setting for that. Even so, you can mention the item's prices in the product description - it will be one more step if the price changes in the future. But this prevents adding anything to the shopping basket until an account is made. There is also the approach of modifying the skin template seen at checkout to "hide" the 'make an account' chechbox and have it's value as checked - so the customer cannot un-check it.
