Guest twisted Posted July 1, 2005 Share Posted July 1, 2005 As something of a matter of some urgency, if anyone has tried it yet, can someone tell me how v.3.0 reacts if using SSL? Ease of setup? Doesn't kill site? Works??? This was a problem with v.2.x.x. As I have clients wishing to use SSL, I need to know its gonna work! Guest twisted Posted July 2, 2005 Share Posted July 2, 2005 OK.........this rasies an interesting question. You have the ability to configure the site to run under SSL....but.......why??? THere is nothing in Cubecart that requires it. There is no ability to accept credit cards, either for manual, off-line processing, or through a merchant account. All the other methods of accepting credit cards [Paypal, paymate, protx, etc] all do the secure transactions on their own server. And there are no mods for it. So whats the point of it?
