If a customer checks out using USD, and they see the total amount, i don't think it matters exactly how much hits their bank account. Because their bank account might be in a different currency, or they might be charged additional fees (as occurs through Paymate). But i think that when a customer views past orders, the amount & currency shown should be the same as the amount & currency they saw when completing the order.
