On 4th of August CubeCart.com was hacked completely deleting our members database. This happened to coincide with an extremely busy week which is why it has taken so long to get back on line. Please note that as a result of the members database being a week out of date some of the forums and/or license key administration may be damaged or corrupt. Any customer who purchased a license key and registered between the 4th August '04 and 06th August please reregister and email us your purchase order and email address. We will then rapair our database so that you can manage your license key(s). If your forums username has been deleted please perform the following steps. 1. Register again. 2. Locate a forum post you made. 3. Report this forum post to us using the link provided. Stating your new/reregistered username. 4. We will update the database to fix all your old forum posts. Hello, Something clean, tidy and professional is the most desired. Importantly simple designs which not only look great but can be modified by people with limited skills. A tip would be to avoid images a titles for "Sales Items" or "Best Seling Products". We will judge design on how practical they are to build in html with a page size of a maximum of ~60Kb. Also a design wich is accessible. i.e. a decent range of colours which those with poor eyesight can use and a result combinations such as blue on red would be bad. I hope that helps (And sorry its so late). I have been in belgium for three days.

Yes eStore had the same license as CubeCart. I have never heard of eCart either. eStore was CubeCarts predecessor. We changed the name as it had no individuality. ;)

Hello, Yes you can modify the logo SLIGHTLY but it must be very similar to how it is now. We have only just had a rebranding of our logo/image so we are not too keen on having another new one.

This could happen when the server is sending out a bulk email. Our mailing list is about 6,000 now and it takes a few hours to send. I would expect that that during those times the board emails could get slightly upset?? Just a thought.

Attached is the current PNG of our logo. We are waiting for the original layered version and any fonts that you may also find useful.

It is highly likely there are security flaws in CubeCart as any script. To date I have never heard of it being hacked although I am sure it is not too difficult for an experienced person to do.

Folks, Today we are launching a competition for the best CubeCart 3 template design. All you have to do is make a one page template (or more) of how you think CubeCart 3 should look. The winning member will get $250 in prize money (paid with PayPal) and of course credits within the release package/cubecart.com. As a brief we would like a clean crisp design incorporating our new logo with NO Flash elements. Please submit the files as Macromedia Fireworks or Adobe Photoshop. You can base the design on the current features of CubeCart and the closing date will be the 1st of August 2004 and the prize winner will be listed on our site. I can confirm that the majority of code is stolen from CubeCart. It also doesnt work with Register Globals Off. http://dev2.cubecart.com

There are two other companies doing this too. :'( BTW MiniMe this site is hosted on a dedicated server at http://www.dedipower.co.uk and there are only three websites on our server. We have a 40GB hard disk and the data center is based in reading. All for £600 a year.
