  1. Thanks for all the help. It makes sense, and I have a feeling it is the shared hosting. We'll just have to continue watching for the pending orders and bounce them agains our PayPal account.

At the time of the most recent pending order, I had this error "[10-Jun-2014 16:02:39 America/New_York] PHP Notice: cURL Error (22): The requested URL returned error: 503 Service Unavailable in .../store/classes/request.class.php on line 255" I only have one payment gateway enabled. I'd say 1 order in 10 gives me issues.

  4. I've checked multiple transactions that didn't show up in my Admin Control Panel as complete right away, and they all showed as complete through Paypal. They had an http response code of 200. Any other ideas? Should I try moving from the payment gateway to the plugin?
  5. Brian, I just noticed this post. Could this be the cause of intermittent pending orders instead of all orders? On our store, we get at least two/three orders a day that must be manually updated to processing after we receive notification of payment.
  6. The cookie domain field was initially blank as has now been populated. Is that used even when an SSL certificate is not installed? Brian, All problems have been at the same point. If the cookie domain setting doesn't fix it, I'll be contacting hostgator. There was another identical problem last night from a different customer, but I haven't been able to get her browser information yet.
  7. I do not have an SSL cert installed. The customer just told me she was using Google Chrome this time. Are the new browsers forcing SSL even when not required?
  8. I've received multiple reports recently of people being unable to checkout using the most recent Internet Explorer. I just received the following screenshot. Any ideas?

  10. I have a feeling this problem is not just with the payment method of choice. I've continued to have problems with this throughout the week. Today, I've had four or five orders that have shown up as "Pending" that I have a corresponding payment confirmation from Paypal. There is no "Transaction Logs" tab under these orders, and the order does not appear in the Request Log. While I can continue to manually accept the orders, there is nothing that I can see to set the "bad" orders apart from the ones that go through.
  11. I'm not sure if this is the right way of wording it, but I've had several sales in the last week that have required manual processing. I receive an email confirmation from PayPal, but the order never shows in the admin control panel. I can look in the Request Log, and the order does not show up in the requests. Is this a PayPal issue or a possible CubeCart integration issue.
  12. I think I just confirmed my theory, but I don't know exactly where to look to fix it. I added three items priced at $2 to my cart. Each item is normally priced at $4. I was able to add the coupon code that has a minimum subtotal of $10. I'm looking at cart.class.php, but I'm having trouble following some of the logic. Anybody have any ideas?
  13. That's what I'm afraid of. I think the problem may be with the subtotal calculation as both orders had sale items that would have met the requirement if they had been full price.
  14. I currently have three coupons active in my store, each with a minimum subtotal set. I just had two orders that did not meet the minimum purchase requirement use a code and receive the higher discount level. Is this a known bug or do I have something set up wrong? Thanks for your help.
  15. Thanks. I just thought it was odd that IE is the only browser that chokes on it and then only occasionally.
  16. I've had a couple of customers complain that adding an item to their cart splits the screen and will not let them continue with the checkout process. The screen shows the center column from the product page as well as the login screen. I finally had one send a screen shot today. Unfortunately, the forum server "returned an error during upload" so I can't show you. If anyone has any idea what may be causing this, I would be more than happy to email you the screenshot. Thanks for your help.
  17. I set my store up using 5.1.5, and I have not been able to get a fixed price coupon to work properly. I know bsmither had posted a fix a while back for some coupon issues, but I wasn't sure if it applied to 5.1.5 or not. As a result, I've resorted to percent off coupons. Unfortunately, that won't work for this.
  18. Is there a way to create gift certificates from the backend or phpmyadmin. I'd like to create a ten dollar gift certificate for customers who have purchased a certain item in the past. I know I could try a fixed price coupon, but that was unreliable when I attempted to use it before. Thanks for any help you can provide.
  19. Any ideas on the fixed priced coupons? I completely missed this thread and set up/sent out several fixed price coupons. I was able to adjust one to a percentage since it applied to a specific item, but the other is for any purchase. Will your code update fix that?
  20. It sends the order completion email, but no email with download links. The time I got it to work (outside of catalogue only mode) send two emails, one for order completion and the other with a download link.
  21. I tried manually changing the order status from pending to processing. It automatically changes to complete when I set it to processing. It is still not sending the download email when the store is in catalogue mode. I'm not sure what it is, but it looks like it will work once I get the payment gateway set up and turn catalogue mode off. Thanks for your help.
  22. I think I may be having a similar issue with creating orders in admin. I made the order using a product that has a digital download. I discounted the order to zero out the total and set the order as complete. The email was sent showing a complete order, but download links are not appearing for the order. Any ideas if this is the same problem? Looks like it has to do with keeping the test site in catalogue only mode. It worked when I turned that off.
  23. Thanks for the quick reply. I think I will hold off on any major mods right now. I probably need to focus on getting the store stocked for now.
  24. Is it possible to use options and link to different files for a single digital product? I am trying to set up a store that will have at least 6 different file types for each product, and I would prefer to not send the customers file types they cannot use. Thanks for any hints/tips as this is my first time setting up a storefront.
