  1. Just having a quick search came across this RM C&D APi, when looking in there the AirNumber seems to relate to shipments outside of the UK as it's in all the customs section, so maybe the air tracking number ?? https://api.parcel.royalmail.com/doc/v1/click-and-drop-api-v1.yaml
  2. When using Click and Drop on a Royal Mail business account we already have set business pricing - the customer doesn't need to see this as we set a flat rate on our site. The only thing to ensure in RM C&D is the weight and posting type ie: size (Large Letter, Parcel), 1st (24) , 2nd (48) and then the service used BPL, CRL, signed for etc. I already know how much 200 large letters at average weight 190g will cost me and the customer knows what they pay for P&P by way of a flat rate.
  3. There is some info on Royal Mail here: https://help.parcel.royalmail.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360011462338-How-to-import-orders-with-the-Click-Drop-API
  4. It's still a problem where customers can't come back and pay later (even 1 minute later) if you use 'Reduce stock at pending'. I use it in my store but have the time set at 30 mins after which it cancels the order and emails them to politely advise them of why. I would rather do it at pending than have a load of customers p'd off because when they got to checkout and find half of what they put in their basket wasn't available any more.
  5. I thought the API is available to everyone now. They're just updating the RM site so can't log in at the mo but will check once they're finished.
  6. As some have reported already it's not always returning the address line, sometimes we get just the house number but no street address , other times nothing. These seem to stem from orders placed by iphone or ipad.
  7. I'm the same, spent over 4 hours copying and pasting into RM C&D to get my orders out. When I have chance I'm going to look at what info is needed in the RM CSV upload and see if I can get that info out of my Paypal sheets and use those instead, then all I would have to do is apply the postage to each order.
  8. Hi, in your dashboard - extentions - Paypal standard , mine is set up as per the following image, but ensure that the email address you use is your 'Primary' email address in Paypal (if you use more than one email address within Paypal then double check in Paypal which is your primary one). Satus: tick set to on. Priority: if you have more than one payment extention - sets which order : 1 = 1st in list , 2 = 2nd in list etc (at least I think this is what is does) Scope: set to both Default: Leave the Default box unchecked if you plan on using another system as the default for buyers to use. You can change the *Description to whatever wording you want. Set which zones (countries) you allow for payments , mine is UK so all zones of the UK are included, I have also set a few disabled zones to stop people from countries I don't ship to at present being able to order and pay on the site. Once a customer ( or you if you are testing) creates an order and goes through the checkout process , upon clicking the make payment button they are then transferred to the Paypal system to make the payment, they have a choice to either login to their paypal account if they have one or to make payment by card. When they make payment it is transferred to your Paypal Primary Email address (it’s your account address) and how money is transferred from the buyer to your account. I also have a note on my order info page to advise customers that a Paypal account is not required: Payments: Online: Simply add the items to your basket and complete checkout and payment via the Paypal SSL Secure payment terminal. Our store uses the PayPal card services to process online debit and credit card payments using encrypted SSL. On the payment screen you can select to either pay by your credit or debit card or for those who wish to or already have set one up - can use a Paypal account. An account is NOT required with either us or with Paypal to shop at XXXXXXXX. PayPal protects your financial information with industry-leading security and fraud prevention systems. PLEASE NOTE: Paypal does not share your financial and personal information with the merchant (XXXXXX). Please do not use, amend or update any email or delivery address within Paypal for your order - under GDPR data protection rules this information is not passed to us, we only use the email and Billing/Delivery addresses as entered in our store at the time of placing the order. Once your payment is complete, you will be emailed a receipt for this transaction from Paypal as well as an order and payment confirmation email from ourselves.
  9. 4 actual cat products , if someone is on my site looking for a cat stamp, they aren't going to type cats stamp, they will simply type cat stamp and search brings up No products found. I have amended my description to include the words cat, cats, (even puddy as you never know) and I won't go there with the other possibility
  10. I have 11 products with the element 'cat' in the word: cat , Scattered, Delicate. Unless your going to tell me it counts the category word as well in which case it would all of them. Al already manually updates my site due to modifications already in place.
  11. At the moment searching for Cat doesn't find any products with Cats in and we have 4. Would I be able to re-add the meta keywords back into my store V6.4.4
  12. Can anyone explain why on my site can I search for sun and get products returned but I can't search for cat, I can search for cats but it doesn't return any cat products unless I purposely enter plurals in the description (for which at times they seem totally out of place and unrelated) I can search products in the admin search and it will find cat. Is there anywhere we can add a tags section (like as seen on blogs) to place key words for that product ?
  13. @ Keat I purchased Noodlemans Dashboard Widgets and Advanced Reports plugin and the info in the reports are well worth the plugin cost. To me it's a great plugin that is really easy to configure to find what sales info you might ever need from individual product sales to shipping costs. He gives a 7 day trial so maybe worth downloading it and testing it out.
  14. bsmither let me have a module for my store and it works great. When you are editing a product there is a new tab at the top called orders with a red count and if you click on the tab it will show a list of all orders in which that product was sold. https://forums.cubecart.com/topic/56472-can-you-filter-orders-by-products-sold/?tab=comments#comment-245358
  15. Can a whole category be deselected with this as well as individual products ? I keep a back catalogue category on my store where I have some of my designs from previous years that are not currently available to purchase as they will in time be redesigned and updated, also in the same back catalogue I have products from other manufacturers that due to Covid and sourcing issues are unavailable at present but will be back at a later date.
  16. Think it's been mentioned before but Paypal commerce will override the address entered in your cubecart store with the one used or verified in Paypal - regardless of what settings you have in cubecart. I and others are still using Paypal standard because of this.
  17. Not sure if this affects any of the Paypal modules but Paypal have sent me a couple of reminder emails re their updated IPs: As communicated via email in the first week of December 2020, PayPal is expanding the Instant Payments Notification (IPN) infrastructure used to notify merchants about events related to the status of PayPal transactions. This change has added seven new IP addresses from which IPNs are being sent since January 18, 2021. Below are all of the IP addresses that are being used for IPN. 66.211.170.66 173.0.81.1 173.0.81.0/24 173.0.81.33 173.0.81.65 (New) 173.0.81.140 (New) 64.4.240.0/21 (New) 64.4.248.0/22 (New) 66.211.168.0/22 (New) 173.0.80.0/20 (New) 91.243.72.0/23 (New) Call to Action If you are implementing any Access Control List (ACL) or filters on IP addresses for the IPNs received from PayPal, we request that you add all the aforementioned IP addresses before 1 May 2021. Doing so will help avoid missing IPNs from PayPal.
  18. Can I add to this: I have a problem in where I've had customers placing goods in their basket, go to checkout, then decide to amend their basket by removing an item or items, then completing checkout and payment. The stock level does not reflect this and does not increase back up. My store is set to reduce stock levels when order is pending.
  19. I have a Royal Mail business account, I used to use the OBA PPi but switched over to Business Click & Drop so we can still get average weights on parcels and large letters plus we get track and trace on them all (oh and free 6 x 4 labels ) BUT I have to manually do the orders which can take hours even though I have a good routine. Yesterday we had 7 mails sacks sent out so you can imagine the hours we waste doing this.
  20. The key words were handy though for searching products. Cubecart search is one of the things I dislike most, I have various products called Friend, Friendship and another called Friends - you'd think a search for friend would bring them all up but nope. Have to get somewhat creative in all the descriptions so as not to fall foul of keyword spamming.
  21. In settings: Countries/Zones tab there is the option in each country to Disable or to Enable(Zone Required) , Enable(Zone Optional) , Enable(Zone Disabled). I currently have mine set to optional and customers aren't required to select their County, if I change it to Required then they must select a county from the list. So I was thinking that as Northern Ireland only has 6 counties this could be set simpler than inputting loads of postcodes. But as you have explained above we can use the BT* which simplifies it even more. Thanks am going to go look at our shipping now and try work some rules out.
  22. In AIOS would selecting the enabled status 'Zone Required' make people have to enter their county/state? NI only has 6. In AIOS how do we add a range of postcodes, can we put an hypenated range such as BT1-BT94 or can we just use the BT* or do they need to be put in full comma separated list such as BT1,BT2,BT3,BT4,BT5,BT6,BT7,BT8,BT9,BT10,BT11,BT12,BT13,BT14,BT15,BT16,BT17,BT18,BT19,BT20,BT21,BT22,BT23,BT24,BT25,BT26,BT27,BT28,BT29,BT30,BT31,BT32,BT33,BT34,BT35,BT36,BT37,BT38,BT39,BT40,BT41,BT42,BT43,BT44,BT45,BT46,BT47,BT48,BT49,BT50,BT51,BT52,BT53,BT54,BT55,BT56,BT57,BT58,BT59,BT60,BT61,BT62,BT63,BT64,BT65,BT66 ,BT67,BT68,BT69,BT70,BT71,BT72,BT73,BT74,BT75,BT76,BT77,BT78,BT79,BT80,BT81,BT82 ,BT83,BT92,BT93,BT94
  23. I think this will be applicable to most stores operating in GB but shipping to NI and something we are all going to have to look at in our shipping rules.
  24. Did this get sorted as it's something I would be interested in for my store
