Snowsmile
I looked at the layout & style.tpl but not sure where to remove the border of the Welcome box in the middle column (the other boxes still keep borders). Can someone please tell me where to modify the codes. Thank you very much.
markscarts
Yes probably can tell you, if: 1. State the CC version 2. State which skin you are using 3. Best yet, share a link to the site so we can see. The information you request can vary by skin used - especially if you use a custom skin. Dirty Butter
You can help to cut out that extra step of asking questions about your setup if you would please create a sig with your info.
markscarts
In styleSheets/layout.css look for the .boxContent class, and remove the line that specifies the border. Note, this will remove the border from probably ALL the center column sections of your store, NOT just welcome box. To do that, you would need to specify a new class for that one box. Remove the border as described above and let us know if that was what you are after; if not, we can advise further.
Snowsmile
When I read .boxContent class, I also thought it will remove the borders of all boxes in the center column. But I would like to remove the Welcome box ONLY, not the "Latest products" box.
markscarts
In that case, in styleTemplates/content/index.tpl, find the section for welcome message, find there a div with class="boxContent" and add inlinline styles afterward like this: <div class="boxContent" style="border: 0;">
Snowsmile
Great! It really worked My appreciation & thank you, Markscarts
Dirty Butter
Glad it's fixed for you. Thanks for creating your sig, but please edit to show what version of 4 you are on. That would be useful to know for some issues.
