bsmither
Is it Free Delivery, or Free Shipping? Or is it the same for your store? If the same, then Free Shipping is added to the list of shipping choices when the cart total exceeds the specified amount. Be sure to add a name in the name field: Free Delivery
Dspooner
hi please see below link to screen shot of how i have this set up '> thanks dan
Dirty Butter
By checking that it applies to Shipping - wouldn't that mean the discount would apply on the TOTAL spent, rather than the CC calculated SUBTOTAL? IF my logic is correct, as set now it would give the discount to people who spent less than you intended.
Dspooner
Hi the problem is that it is not automatically applying the discount and that i have to type in free delivery for it to be applied. i want it to work out the customer has spent more than £36 so automatically applies the discount. thanks daniel
Dirty Butter
OH! You're using the wrong form! Go to Modules>Shipping Methods>Free Shipping and do it from there. Sorry, I didn't realize you were using the Coupon setting to begin with.
Dspooner
Hi Great thank you i dont know if you will be able to help with this but we are also wanting to set up a loyalty scheme were if a customer enters a voucher code once on say there first order it atomatically saves it on there account and adds it at the checkout every time they order in the future. if that is not possible any ideas on how we could automatically apply this or record this so we can give them the money in the future as a credit?? thanks daniel
bsmither
For a percentage-money discount, no, I am not sure how that is easily done. For a fixed-money discount, here is a way (although kind of tedious). In admin: Customer List, Customer Groups tab. Add a Loyalty group. Products, edit a product, Pricing tab. At the top there will be drop-down selector: 'Retail Pricing' and 'Loyalty'. Select Loyalty and enter whatever pricing you want loyal customers to have. When you determine a customer is now loyal: Customer List, edit that customer, assign that customer to the Loyalty group. From that point forward, the Loyal customer will receive the Loyalty price for products given Loyalty pricing. Since CubeCart code is 99% human-readable and editable, it is possible to add the code necessary to make this all automatic and triggered by the use of a coupon.
