They have a pending order (that hasn't been paid yet) 2. they have paid for the order and order is moved to processing My customers appear to be getting the same email and some are not following through with the payment after pending as they presume they have paid. bsmither Posted August 20, 2014 Share Posted August 20, 2014 An order that goes to Pending: only the admin will receive the Admin: Order Received email but only if the store setting is set appropriately. An order that is updated to reflect payment was made successfully (part of Processing): the customer will receive the Cart: Payment Received email. An order that goes to Processing: the customer will receive the Cart: Order Confirmed email, and the admin will receive the Admin: Order Received email but only if the store setting is set appropriately. An order that goes to Completed: the customer will receive the Cart: Order Completed email. There are slight differences if an order contains only digital products.
