fettlebox
With some items going airmail letter if the thickness is under 5mm & small packet if over 5mm thus creating 2 bands of postage by weight - how are UK shops coping with this? Most of my items are around 14g & those under 5mm in thickness go at £1.28 to USA etc but those 14g items more than 5mm go at £2.80. I can't get my head around the cubecart options to deal with this! bsmither
I would tend to sympathize with your dilemma as you would want to charge your customers a "fair" postage cost. But I, personally, would also realize that, if the cost of the item is $10.00 (as an example), and it's being shipped from over-seas by airmail, I, personally, would not argue about a $1.50 difference in postage considering the fact I am buying a product from a company on the other side of the freakin' planet. I must really want that item -- postage be damned! Until the Cubecart code allows for an admin to apply/deny specific shipping methods to a product, I think you have to go with what you think is best: absorb the occasional $1.50, or charge the customer the $2.80 rate and leave it at that.
