Bill Teale
I am a newbie to e-commerce systems, and am building a simple site that will use Paypal to collect payments. I need to send two emails to different addresses once the payment has been accepted, is that possible with cubecart, and is there a tutorial? Thanks in advance
bsmither
Welcome Bill Teale! Glad to see you made it to the forums. That depends on the nature of the extra email(s). When an order goes to the Processing status, one email, of course, goes to the customer. A second email gets sent to the admin(s) if the store settings are set that way (admin, Store Settings, Features tab, "Order status for admin email notifications" set to Processing). What is the purpose of any other email? If it's just another admin, you can create another administrator (keep user/pass to yourself) and set that account's Notify checkbox to Enable. If it's to notify a drop-shipper, there is a plugin for that. Bill Teale
I want, once an order is complete, to send an email to the distributing site with the order details (items, shipping address etc). Is that possible? It is probably a very easy solution, but I'm a newbie at ecommerce.
