Hello everyone, On my Admin login page I have a problem that the links do not seem to work when doing a backup, Upgrade or anything else? https://www.mjpcomputerservices.co.uk/shop/?_g=maintenance&node=index#upgrade ---- this is what shows when you hover on the buttons in Admin https://www.mjpcomputerservices.co.uk/shop/admin.php?_g=maintenance&node=index#upgrade ---- I have noticed the wording in RED is missing, when I type the missing part into the address it will work!!! if I just click on say the backup button it takes me to my stores home page?
  2. Looking for a shipstation API plug-in. I contacted shipstation and they do not offer an automated connection for Cubecart and was told a third party programmer would have to do this. Is there anyone out there that has connected to shipstation successfully to push and pull orders, status, etc? If not, can I request this as an extension?

  4. Hi, I have a Cubecart V6.2.x site running very happily, but I now want to offer a single product where the price includes shipping (i.e. free shipping to the customer). All my other products use weight-based shipping with the normal "By weight" shipping module. If the customer orders just this item, then the shipping cost should be zero. If they order other products, then those should attract the shipping costs that they currently do. I've looked around the forum and can't find anything that answers my question. Does one of the other modules (tried the All-in-One, couldn't see it working) have this facility? Thanks Neil
  5. Hello I'm using the minimaliser skin (blue) and on the category links I have "shirts" with dropdown links. I figured out to increase the font size but I can't figure out how to enlarge the small down-pointing arrow. I'd even be happy just changing it's color to something more noticeable, especially on a mobile device. There the arrow is so small and flush right it's barely visible. www.MisterGreggy.com/shopping

  7. I am building an own-use module that offers a choice from a largish table of options that may change over time. If I remove the bang from the if statement to get if ( $module_config = $GLOBALS['config']->get('testModule') ) then the table is displayed when I enter the form (for example by clicking the module name in the breadcrumb trail at the top of the page) but it is not when I click Save. I believe the template is working perfectly because it displays correctly when MODULE_DINNER is available, so the problem is in the logic of the PHP module. Refining the code above to: if($module_config = $GLOBALS['config']->get('testModule') && !isset($module_config['products])) { $module_config['products'] = array ( array ( 'id' => 1, provides an amusing variation on the existing disfunction, but makes no real difference. The theory of what is happening above is that the module config is initialised before the module class is instantiated. Therefore the module reads the updated config, builds $MODULE, which contains the scalar config values, and creates MODULE_<KEY> for all module config entries that are arrays. The effect that I am seeing is: if the config does not exist already, it is not saved by $GLOBALS['config']->set(. The Save action Clearly I am doing something wrong, and given an infinite amount of time, I may well be able to work it out, but I have spent more hours than I can spare on it so far, so expedience over-rules pride and I am <sob!> asking for help, hoping that someone has managed to get this to work already. My heart is in your hands... There must be a pattern for this already, right? I can find lots of examples that manage scalars, but I have not found a module that initializes a table that has visible code. Thank you for your help. Russ

I'd like to set up a Christmas promotion where I can offer a discount by order total (e.g. $100 receives 10% off; $200 receives 20% off, etc.) I did not see how to do this under the regular Cubecart features.   10. (How) Can I create a product that is an assembly of other products? I would like to be able to do a "multi-buy" where you can select one product and it automatically populates this with individual stock items, thus decrementing the stock level for each item. I hope this makes sense, not sure what to call it! Neil
  11. I have added the Authorize.net extension for checkout but I am actually dealing with a 3rd party called NMI to get into the portal. I need to change the URLs for test and live accounts to go through for access. Can you tell me where these would be found to replace? I received a message from my credit card company saying "It’s time to renew digital certificates in your certificate store for the Payeezy® Gateway" They say "This update does not apply to clients using Hosted Checkout, Payeezy API, Payeezy.JS, Android Pay™ or Apple Pay®. " Is there an obvious way to determine whether Cubecart uses the Payeezy API? Or is this a question for Payeezy? I think I'm using code I hacked up from either FirstData or Authorize.

  16. I have just had a query from a customer asking about a recaptcha issue which I think I have fixed by selecting Invisible Recaptcha. Doing this I was able to process a sale. But when I finished with paypal and selected the option to go back to the website, I got the following warning - image attached - and noticed that the item was still in my cart, appearing not to have been purchased/sale completed. I have had a couple of people query this with me, but I do get the order and the $$ in paypal, so I haven't taken much notice - I probably should have. I had an initial issue when my store was upgraded in that it wasn't set up properly with paypal (the upgrade was done by cubecart and seemed to be rectified by them also, months later when I flagged it with them ). Can anyone shed some light on this issue? Is there a reason why the transaction does not go through to "Complete" status on the user end when coming back to my site from Paypal? I am NOT good with anything technical, but if I have very specific instructions I can usually figure it out. If it's not too complicated :). Thanks in advance. Sarah

  18. I'm building a site for a friend who is based in the US, and I'm a little confused about the best options for shipping out orders. The store will ship DVDs and Blu-rays mainly to the US, but also worldwide. I guess USPS would be best? Does this work on "By Weight", or is there a better way to set this up.

  20. ISSUE RESOLVED - see final posts. Hi, I've created a backup and got a file called "database_full_6.0.12_mravico_shop_10May18-212618.sql.zip" which shows in my Admin panel, and I have downloaded. I tried to do a manual upgrade to the latest version (v6.2.0 from a zip file I'd downloaded) and it didn't go right. My site is now inaccessible and I can't get the backup restored. I've tried various things around the Backup / Restore function in CubeCart Admin panel as well as cPanel - no luck. Help! Thanks...
  21. I've been using the Galaxy x skin for a few years now and it's a great looking skin. I'm trying to replace the images in the slider box. I'm using the cpanel file manager, navigating to: public_html/skins/galaxyx/images/examples folder and uploading the new image files. The new images are showing in the folder but the web site doesn't change, it still keeps the old images. Anyone have an idea of what I'm missing?
  22. Just a thought - that way, we could list upcoming items for which we do not have the full details, and adding to cart before we have set a price. This would then allow the product images to fit within the template grid, without having to resort to using a document set-up.

  25. We have a link set up on the navigation bar which takes you to an external site. Would it be possible to open this link in a frame, thus keeping the customer on our website? Example: https://nucleusfilms.com (link = Digital)
