  1. I run a website which is staying open during the current crisis. I want to put a "banner" or something up so that anyone trying to buy stuff is aware of the fact that delivery may be impacted. I guess that a note on the checkout page may be the best? Has anyone either implemented something like this, or could give me a pointer as to which file(s) requires editing to effect something like this. Not sure if I want a "popup" or just hardcoded text.   2. I'm looking to "improve" on the Sales report, so that each sales record has the line items and cost of each line as well as all the current info. This is so that I can import the information into my accounts package (Quickbooks) and match it with the payment record. I'd like to be able to export the data as a csv file for upload. I've seen a few references to this with a quick search, but no example that I can see. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks

    Hi, I manage a little site using cubecart for my boss. tinoneeorchids.com When entering the estore we now get the following message; Warning: mysqli::mysqli(): (HY000/1275): Server is running in --secure-auth mode, but 'tin20440_cube'@'localhost' has a password in the old format; please change the password to the new format in /home/tin20440/public_html/shop/classes/db/mysqli.class.php on line 33 Warning: mysqli_options(): Couldn't fetch mysqli in /home/tin20440/public_html/shop/classes/db/mysqli.class.php on line 35 Fatal error: Server is running in --secure-auth mode, but 'tin20440_cube'@'localhost' has a password in the old format; please change the password to the new format in /home/tin20440/public_html/shop/classes/db/mysqli.class.php on line 38 What is the "new format" for a password & how do I fix this? I know I haven't updated Cubecart recently either. My knowledge is very limited when it comes to sql's. Any help appreciated. Cheers, Kerrie
  4. I keep getting this message.. The following errors were detected: Unfortunately there are no suitable shipping methods available for your order. This may be because the total weight of your order is too high or we cannot ship to your country. Please contact a member of our staff for any further inquiries. I have the USPS shipping module installed.. why am I getting this? for the "allowed zones", I have United States. I have "retail ground" selected I have the item weighing in at .5 pounds.
  5. I would like to cancel a Gift Card someone has ordered. He's got this as a present and can't get what he wants from me, so I'm going to refund him outside of Cubecart. If I cancel the original order in Cubecart, will it cancel the gift card so that it cannot be used in future? Thanks

  7. Hi, Can someone please help me with an issue. If I use gift cards the customer can choose an amount but at checkout there is VAT added to the amount. If I create a promotional code the voucher gets deducted from the price before VAT. and not from the total . All item prices are marked as VAT included. How can I sell Vouchers for an amount VAT included, or how can promo code vouchers be deducted from the total sum including VAT ?
  8. Hi all, I currently have a tax group configured in cubecart. When creating a new order, in the admin panel, I noticed that the taxes are not auto calculated. I have also noticed that it does not do it in the demo either. Does anyone know how to go about auto calculating the taxes? Thanks. -- Yarnell
  9. I changed my currency to the USD and unchecked all others. My website is still showing the EUD.. (Euro Dollar).. Am I missing something? how can this be fixed? thank you in advance
  10. Firstly, I am so so sorry if this has already been asked before, I have trawled the forum and couldn't see anything similar. I am creating a website providing for several clubs. I have 3 delivery options, but not all clubs use all three. For example, for members of one club they want me to provide Home delivery (£5), collect from their club HQ (Free), and collect from my shop (Free). For another club they may only want collect from their club HQ. Do any of the shipping extensions allow this configuration by product or category. I can see the 'by category' option, but it looks like i can only choose one delivery method then adjust cost. I want to present the customers with the delivery options approved by their club.   11. I've got a little bit of time on my hands and thought that I would try and improve my SEO on my site. It's clear (to me at least, though I may be misguided) that I need some microdata on my products. I've got a couple of questions, very, very simple - I'm a Noob at this. Where, in cube cart, do I put the microdata information? Is it in the Meta Description box, or do I have to add to the source data view in the description? Can anyone point me in the direction of a good, startup tutorial? I've found this https://developers.google.com/search/docs/guides/intro-structured-data which seems like a good place to start, but is there a better way. I know that there's a HavenSwift module for this, but at present, I want to do this manually to understand what's going on.

I sell some 1 off items that I don’t want to be included in the stock warnings but want to use the stock warning for other products. - I tried to set the 1 off product stock warning to -1 but it changes to 0 when saved - I unticked the statis box but item was still in the stock warnings tab. -I have the stock warning to individual items rather than global.
  20. Looking for a shipstation API plug-in. I contacted shipstation and they do not offer an automated connection for Cubecart and was told a third party programmer would have to do this. Is there anyone out there that has connected to shipstation successfully to push and pull orders, status, etc? If not, can I request this as an extension?
  21. Hi, I have a Cubecart V6.2.x site running very happily, but I now want to offer a single product where the price includes shipping (i.e. free shipping to the customer). All my other products use weight-based shipping with the normal "By weight" shipping module. If the customer orders just this item, then the shipping cost should be zero. If they order other products, then those should attract the shipping costs that they currently do. I've looked around the forum and can't find anything that answers my question. Does one of the other modules (tried the All-in-One, couldn't see it working) have this facility? Thanks Neil
  22. Hello I'm using the minimaliser skin (blue) and on the category links I have "shirts" with dropdown links. I figured out to increase the font size but I can't figure out how to enlarge the small down-pointing arrow. I'd even be happy just changing it's color to something more noticeable, especially on a mobile device. There the arrow is so small and flush right it's barely visible. www.MisterGreggy.com/shopping

If I remove the bang from the if statement to get if ( $module_config = $GLOBALS['config']->get('testModule') ) then the table is displayed when I enter the form (for example by clicking the module name in the breadcrumb trail at the top of the page) but it is not when I click Save. I believe the template is working perfectly because it displays correctly when MODULE_DINNER is available, so the problem is in the logic of the PHP module. Refining the code above to: if($module_config = $GLOBALS['config']->get('testModule') && !isset($module_config['products])) { $module_config['products'] = array ( array ( 'id' => 1, provides an amusing variation on the existing disfunction, but makes no real difference. The theory of what is happening above is that the module config is initialised before the module class is instantiated. Therefore the module reads the updated config, builds $MODULE, which contains the scalar config values, and creates MODULE_<KEY> for all module config entries that are arrays. The effect that I am seeing is: if the config does not exist already, it is not saved by $GLOBALS['config']->set(. The Save action Clearly I am doing something wrong, and given an infinite amount of time, I may well be able to work it out, but I have spent more hours than I can spare on it so far, so expedience over-rules pride and I am <sob!> asking for help, hoping that someone has managed to get this to work already. My heart is in your hands... There must be a pattern for this already, right? I can find lots of examples that manage scalars, but I have not found a module that initializes a table that has visible code. Thank you for your help. Russ
  25. I apologize if this topic has been covered before. I'd like to set up a Christmas promotion where I can offer a discount by order total (e.g. $100 receives 10% off; $200 receives 20% off, etc.) I did not see how to do this under the regular Cubecart features. Can somebody show me how to do this? Thanks for your help. MARK
