    reCaptcha V2 for CubeCart 5

    Google's reCaptcha V1 will go dark on 31 March, 2018. Warnings are already showing. CubeCart 5 is coded to use only reCaptcha V1. I have developed instructions to re-code CC5 to behave like CC6.1+. That is to say, instructions for: * CC5 Skins - to display reCaptcha V2 (and maybe reCaptcha Invisible) * Admin settings to choose V1, V2, or Invisible * Language strings (definitions.xml only) * Initial config settings in setup (if wanting to install another CC5 store) * Hook added * GUI class has new methods * Cubecart class to use new GUI methods * User class to use new GUI methods * Catalogue class - minor edit * Controller - minor edit You will need to acquire your own reCaptcha keys for your domain name. Note: The latest versions of the CC5 skins in the Marketplace simply adopt the template files from CC6's Foundation - apparently. Note2: Tested on a personal development site, and a third-party site.
  2. Hi, I have a specific question. We are running a heavily modded version of the CubeCart 5.2.1. It is not possible to update the website due to the amount of changes we have done to the code - and before you say it, yes - I realize this means the issue I am asking about could have been caused by the changes I have made - even though I doubt it. Recently we had few issues about subtotals of the orders being incorrect and customers paying less than they should have. This is all the information and evidence I have regarding the latest occurrence: The customer places an order The customer does not proceed to the payment, the order status is Pending Up until this point, the basket data saved in the order_summary (and other log I have set up for other reasons) and the subtotal match I see multiple Pending status records in the order history, assuming the customer went back to the website, possibly retrieved the order and did.. something for half an hour: http://prntscr.com/i5vwd9 Finally the order is paid for, with the inventory being slightly different (more items than there were during the original order placement) but without the subtotal changing So even though the order is now worth more than €500, the customer has paid the original amount, which is around €400 We have a mod that adds a free gift to the order inventory if your subtotal exceeds a certain amount. This gift is always the last item in the inventory - however for this order, the sequence of the inventory items is following: Items that match the original subtotal Gift Items that have probably been added later, and dont account into the subtotal and havent been paid for This happens very rarely and the large amount of orders on our website works just fine. When I try to do it from the customer point of view and cheat the system in any way, I am unable to do so. Whenever I place an order, log out, log in, retrieve and update, the subtotal is always correct. So ultimately, my question is: Ever since 5.2.1 to this point, was there ever a bug that caused this to happen and was fixed on some of the versions after 5.2.1? Or does anyone have an idea what could be causing this and how to fix it? Thank you in advance for any feedback, I realize its a specific question regarding obsolete and modded version.

My shop is now on a new server. first it was patricia-kelly.com/wink but now I have made the url patriciakelly.shop (.shop didn't excised at early times) I have download the shop and put it online at the new url, and everything is ok, but when I go to the admin I see that the licence-key is not good anymore? can you help me with this?
  4. Hello and good evening from Wiltshire,UK. I'm new to Cubecart and have been playing with it for a week or so. I currently have an Actinic v10 ecommerce site (10 years+) and am intending to replace it with a Cubecart one. I'm slowly teasing out a few modifications to the Mican Blue skin, and so far I've made about half a dozen alterations , so nothing too drastic. Oddly I have two issues, the first is that my Categories page in the admin area is now totally empty, I've reversed the skin changes that I've made and it remains totally empty - I've also cleared the cache following every change. This is the most pressing issue The second is merely an annoyance and almost certainly unrelated - when I'm logging in I always have to enter my details twice! It's never succesfull on the first attempt and always succesful on the second -wierd!     Upgrade Tips

    Hi, I'm new to Cubecart, but familiar with similar products. I have taken over a company that uses V5 and I'm going to update to the latest version. My plan is to copy the entire current site to a test server and do the update on that before doing on the live server. Mare there any guides / hints that anyone could point me to, so that I can make the process as painless as possible? Thanks

    transferring Hosting

    I am with Justhosts and I want to change hosting to fasthosts. I have copied all the files via FTP to the new hosting server and I have uploaded my CC mysql database as well. I have changed the includes/global.inc file to reflect the new ip address, but I cannot find the HTACCESS file in the root directory that may need changing. Fasthost tech say the configuration file need changing but what to and where?
  8. Hi, I am using cubecart 5.2.1 and created 15% coupon. We want to make discounts on total prices including tax and shipping but this coupon ONLY applies product price only. It does not discount on shipping and tax. The tax prices is calculated on original price without discount applied. How do we fix this problem? For example, Product Price $30.60 Shipping $14 Tax $4.46 Total $49.06 And then discounts 15% from total amount so it should be $7.359 discount NOT discount $4.59 Can you please help me?
  9. I have managed to translate and make a Croatian language pack but its not working. So when I select the language on my page no change happens, I have followed installation instructions and cant find the last part. What am i missing. I have included .xml files at the bottom of the page I also went to Import/Export Email Contents as well and did that part Files that I edited and converted cr-HR.xml email_cr-HR.xml
  10. Hello, I created me a shop with cubecard. Everything is very fine but i cannot find the options for shiping and payment .... Whenever someone orders something, this error accures : Unfortunately there are no suitable shipping methods available for your order. This may be because the total weight of your order is too high or we cannot ship to your country. Please contact a member of our staff for any further inquiries. Can anyone tell me how to get things running ? i got the plugins installed : SagePay + All in One Shipping
  11. Hello all We always used to have our site set up so that whenever we got an order, the comformation mail that we ourselves got would always have the client name as its sender. However suddenly we now get the mails with our own name as the sender, Which creates a very confusing email inbox where we cant tell which mail is which without opening them first. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this? Kind regards Patrick Maatman Ultimatesports.nl
