[Resolved] Adding a cartagory with links in it

I added a category called Links of Interest and would like to put links in it

that people can click on and go to the link specified. 

Is that something I can do?

I added the category with a description but can't find where to add the links.  I tried making a product

and no luck.  Where do I add the links and can I have a description with it?

When you created the category, you also composed the description for it. Go wild with the description. Add links and whatever you want to the category description.

That's what I tried but the links in the description don't show up as clickable.  

I tried using http://www.google.com  and just www.google.com to see what it would do

and it didn't work.  Where am I going wrong?

When composing the description of the category, you are using a "rich-text" editor. This editor has a tool button (just to the right of center, middle row) that looks like a planet with links of chain at the bottom edge.

Compose the friendly wording, such as Google, then highlight/select that word, click the tool button and fill in the details on the Link Editor popup dialog window shown to you.
