njohn Posted March 25, 2016 Share Posted March 25, 2016 I have deleted all VAT listings and created Sales Tax Class and Details but when I go to Tax Rules Sales Tax does not appear at the top.When I fill out "Add Tax Rule" it retains all but Tax Rate and will NOT enable. bsmither Posted March 25, 2016 Share Posted March 25, 2016 Welcome njohn! Glad to see you made it to the forums. Let's review: Step 1: view Tax Classes tab. There should already be three classes: Standard, Reduced, Exempt. If these were deleted, add them back in. Save for each. Step 2: view Tax Details tab. There must be something in the top table - perhaps a Unique Name of GST, and Display As of GST. Status = Enabled. Save. Step 3: view Tax Rules tab. Add a Tax Rule. In the Tax rate filed, enter only numbers and a period - not a '%' nor any currency symbol. Save. It may be the case that with these tabs of data for Taxes, an earlier step is not getting saved prior to the next step. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
