halfflight Posted March 4, 2017 Share Posted March 4, 2017 (edited) Hi All, We have just had an instance of a customer ordering 3 of our digital download Journals, cubecart emailed him a dowload link, as it had set the sales status to completed but no payment was received. We have been selling our digital journals for a few years now and this is the first instance of this happening. Is there a way I can stop the digital download going into completed status? bsmither Posted March 4, 2017 Share Posted March 4, 2017 (edited) In admin, Store Settings, Features tab, the setting "Force Order Completed Emails" is badly expressed. It's true meaning is: "If the order has only digital items that can be downloaded, then, if the Store Settings say that we can automatically move the Order to the Completed status, do so (and do the Completed tasks such as send the Order Completed email to the customer)." There is a similar setting that says: "If, for some reason, the Order has skipped over the Processing status, then, if the Store Setting say this is allowed, then do not go back and do the Processing step, but still do send the Digital Items Download email to the customer." However, please know that the task of sending the Digital Items Download email is part of the Processing status. Therefore, I think the more important question is, how did this order go to Processing? What module gave instruction to CubeCart to move the Order to the Processing status, and what/who told the module that the transaction was successful?
