Dirty Butter
I'm currently on 5.0.7, and almost everything is working the way I want it. I've already downloaded 5.0.8, but I thought I'd wait and see how the bug reports looked before installing it. So far the Bug Tracker has been very quiet. Does that mean CC has finally produced a stable version that doesn't break something else while they are fixing old bugs? Or are most people waiting on installing it just as I am? sparky5693
5.08 messed up my print order form (international orders). Check out this cap
Dirty Butter
I took the plunge today and upgraded to 5.0.8. All went smoothly, but I do have an error message that I'm pretty sure is meaningless: File: [database.class.php] Line: [427] "ALTER TABLE `CubeCart_inventory` ADD `updated` TIMESTAMP NOT NULL DEFAULT '0000-00-00 00:00:00' " - Duplicate column name 'updated' As far as I can tell my existing updated column in the inventory table was already set to these parameters. Is this a bug? Has it been reported? Any cause for concern?
Toucan Web Design
If you already have the column with those settings, then nothing to be concerned about, no. Is a bug though by the looks of it, shouldn't be trying to run that on the upgrade from a store that has it. Hmm, that said, that's different from the one on my copy of 5.0.7 That one defaults to 0000-00-00, the old one defaults to current timestamp. That field should get updated whenever the product is though, so it's still likely nothing to worry about. If you wanted to confirm, try just adding a new test product and have a look on the database whether it's got the correct timestamp on it or not
Dirty Butter
Thanks for the feedback, Toucan.
WhiteWillowStitching
I haven't upgraded since 5.0.6 so I'm of no help. Just checking in to see how it is going as well. .7 had too many issues for my liking.I will probably do the upgrade next weekend. I have a trade show starting tomorrow and now is not the time for me to be dealing with new errors. Will post once I do the upgrade and let you know how it goes. Dirty Butter
I'm pleased with the upgrade so far. One mod I've paid for isn't working correctly, but it's a convenience issue - not crucial. I did have to make a few manual upgrades to old 5.0.7 files to keep the hacks and mods I had installed previously - I was expecting to have to do that. I've made one bug report - but I'm really not sure if this is a 5.0.8 issue, or a bug that was already there in earlier versions, as the customer situation came up for the first time after upgrading. Guest
Any help for 5.0.8. I was having problems keeping our control panel after updating from 3 to 5.0.8. "try me 14 days" So we ordered the 5.0.8 hoping once we put the licenses in - everything would work again. Now, after we put the licenses in - no control panel. I cannot get any support. I email about 5 times.. Does anyone know how to get the control panel back?
Dirty Butter
Support doesn't work on weekends. Did you delete all your cache before upgrading? You'll need to submit a Support Ticket and mark it Urgent, so they'll deal with it before minor issues. Does the store show at all? What happens when you try to login to Admin? Is it the host cpanel you can't get into? When you did the upgrade did you have anything show as not available on your host?
Al Brookbanks
Well as far as watching tech support its by far the best release yet. Very few issues reported.
WhiteWillowStitching
I have to agree with Al! Not one problem since I upgraded to .8. Trust me I hold my breath every time an this is the first I that I haven't had a problem with. Not brave enough to try .9 yet after seeing some have problems but eventually those will get worked out too I'm sure.
Dirty Butter
Yes, I'm very pleased with 5.0.8. I see some improvements I like in 5.0.9, but I'm waiting a bit. That flurry of bug tickets for 09 needs to be resolved before I'll try it I think.
