Guest Chris1111
Yes, I have the same. I have not enabled the cookie consent box for now - in my view this will drop traffic until people get used to it. I was planning of dropping Google Analytics for a while so I remained within the law.
fantastichearts
I have stayed on 5.08 for now but have used this to comply with the law which I feel is slightly better than the box across the top. http://www.heartinternet.co.uk/eu-cookie-law.html . Big Spender
They fixed this for me on a support ticket so it looks like a problem on the 5.0.9 code maybe. Note this was with the EU cookie option disabled. If you don't have the EU cookies function enabled it should track Google Analytics as normal, if you do have EU cookies enabled it should only track Google Analytics if the end user has accepted the cookies. It is my understanding that GA is not supposed to work if the end user does not enable cookies, since it is not an essential function of the website. AddThis and Olark would be disabled, too. Toucan Web Design
Think what he means is, that if you have the eu cookies bit disabled (ie, you're not in the EU and don't have to bother with such laws), then the store should function as it did before they added it, ie, everything like analytics and such working as normal
