not installing required file

after several attempts at install version 5.1.4 via simplescripts i keep getting one or site errors when going to the website address

 

Site error: the file public_html/dhbopro/index_enc_ion.php requires the ionCube PHP Loader ioncube_loader_lin_5.2.so to be installed by the site administrator.

Site error: the file _public_html/dhbopro/store/admin_enc_ion.php requires the ionCube PHP Loader ioncube_loader_lin_5.2.so to be installed by the site administrator.

 

Is there a solution to this problem?

Have your hosting provider install either the Zend Guard module or ionCube module for PHP in your account. This can only be done by a person who has administrative control over the actual server that hosts your site.

 

Also mention to them that by offering CubeCart as an installable application via an installer script (Simplescrips), it is their responsibility to be knowledgeable of CubeCart's dependencies.

  One support tech had me enable the ioncube (check box) in the php Config. When problem was still there another "support pecialist" told me to contact you.  I'll try thru them again, and report the progress...Thanks much.

I preface this with a strong caveat that I do not know what I'm doing..... but maybe you need to be sure all the files that CC tried to install have been returned to their previous state - I'm assuming this was a clean install - which would mean deleting anything that did get recorded. Maybe one of those files has already "recorded" that you didn't have either loader installed.
