RonHitch
We get about 10 bogus eMail's a day. They seem harmless, but are strictly formula with 12345 as address and basically no information. They are all very formatted with two cap initials at the end of each name (as below). They are adding up to be several hundred. Who are these people? bsmither
They are "annoyances". There is a discussion over at www.cubecartforums.org for a solution.
Dirty Butter
That thread is a little hard to find. Search for spam 123456 and it should pull up.
Collingwood38
If they're coming through form driven email on your site, be careful they aren't relay attacks. They're bad news if undetected.
SemperFi
In addition to the discussion mentioned above, I am currently working on an interesting additional solution to this kind of problem. I am hoping to have more information about that over the next week or so.
RonHitch
This issue is escalating. Seven days a week they come and sign-up to the mailing list. If not deleted often this could really get out of control.
