CIMS Posted September 3, 2013 Share Posted September 3, 2013 Hi, A lot of bookkeeping systems have this API to link a webshop to a bookkeeping system, so you don't have to put everything in mamualy. Is there a way they can use this in cubecart? Can cubecart do that or is the sorce open to alter so you can do it yourself. Thanks in advance for any answers. bsmither Posted September 3, 2013 Share Posted September 3, 2013 Welcome CIMS! Glad to see you made it to the forums. CubeCart does not have an API. The CubeCart code is 99% human-readable. For CubeCart 3/4, there have been 3rd-Party applications that will query the CubeCart database, crunch the numbers, and supply well-formatted data to some bookkeeping applications. But these were not add-ons to either CubeCart or the bookkeeping app. The database contents are straightforward, and any data-mining app can be setup to make the necessary queries to develop any kind of report or data file to load into a compatible bookkeeping package.
