geoffb
Hi, looking at your knowledge base SSL page it makes reference to a site by where the URL is (for example) mydomain.com/store and that an SSL certificate should be set up to secure the /store directory. My website/store resides on mydomain.com and I want to have the checkout and payment processor under the SSL (so site changes to: https://mydomain.com) Not sure where to start with this, any help appreciated. Al Brookbanks
Hi Geoff, Please in the admin control panel under settings go to SSL and enter: SSL URL: https://mydomain.com SSL Root: / Standard URL: http://mydomain.com Obviously replacing mydomain.com with the actual domain you own. You must also make sure that you have a dedicated SSL certificate for the domain for it to be able to work.
havenswift-hosting
HiOr if you have setup 301 redirects so that your website always appears with the www. thenSSL URL: https://www.mydomain.comSSL Root: /Standard URL: http://www.mydomain.comEither way, make sure that you use the same format (with or without www) on both the Standard and SSL urls. You must also make sure that either your SSL supports www and non www urls or that you have applied for and installed the SSL for the correct domain. Some SSLs will operate for either but many will see www.mydomain.com and mydomain.com as two different domains and only work with the one that you actually applied for.ThanksIan
