keat
Upgraded from a V3.18 to 6.01 yesterday, but it appears that something didn't build the image thumbnails correctly. http://www.bealworkshopsupplies.co.uk/electrical-products/110v-connection.html for instance (Disregard the cache error for now, i'm looking into a PHP change)
keat
I imagine it could be related to the PHP permissions thing.
bsmither
Let's blame folder permissions for now. CubeCart will take the source image and create derivative sizes, placing those files in the /images/cache/ folder. In CC5/6, the cache folder is a sibling to the source folder. As opposed to CC3 where the thumbnails folder is a child of the source (uploads) folder.
keat
Is there a way to force a rebuild ?
keat
Actually, changing the permissions of the images folder (and all its subs) to 777, and these images appeared. So i definitely need to look at the PHP config, if i'm to use V6
bsmither
To force a rebuild... in admin, Maintenance, Rebuild tab, check the box for Image Cache and click Submit. But, CubeCart will build a set of derivatives or any particular derivative when the need arises.
keat
I reconfigured PHP on the server, and it seems to be working with folders set to 755.
