M. Smith
HostGator took our site down due to processor overuse, and we need help fixing it. We are running an older version of CC (4.0.2) and also will eventually need to upgrade, but for now, just need it fixed so we can get our site back online. Please send an estimate of how much you think it will cost to fix. Here is the message they sent AFTER taking our site down: This message is to advise you of a temporary block placed on your database. The database associated with the script in "/home4/flgames/public_html/battlemart.com/store/index.php" was found to be consuming an inordinate amount of processor time, to the point of degrading overall system performance. While we do limit each account to no more than 25% of a system's CPU in our terms of service, we do not actively disable accounts until they greatly exceed that number, which is what happened in this case. Resolving this situation may be as simple as adding additional indexes to your database, optimizing the queries used, or something equally easy. If not, it may simply be a matter of moving this database to dedicated services, as it may have outgrown a shared environment.
havenswift-hosting
HiYou have already had answers in your other topic you opened about this '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>- there is no benefit in starting another thread. You are running a VERY old version of CubeCart with a hosting company that obviously doesnt care about your website and where the server is probably already seriously overloaded - some of the queries shown dont make any sense unless the MySQL server is already struggling. Best advice move to another hosting company - if you are interested we specialise in hosting CubeCart storesIan
M. Smith
Thanks, Ian, but this post was about hiring someone to fix the issue for us. I didn't see the replies to my other post, so thanks for the heads up. :-D
Al Brookbanks
As part of our Tech Support & Management plan we should be able to fix it and upgrade it to the latest version all at once. More info here: https://www.cubecart.com/technical-support If we are unable to we will be able to give you a full refund.
