Leeberry50
Hi I want to be able to add an additional options page in between add to cart and actually been added into the cart. So the user will click add to cart, an additional pop up or actual screen with the different options (prescription for glasses and lense choices) then add to cart. Is this possible? I'm using the foundation skin with cube cart v6
Noodleman
You mean like this? https://designerframes2u.com/glasses/ted-baker-re-run-8087-brown.html Might be worth reaching out to the site owner if it's what you are looking for. I think he had it custom built. It's a CC store.
Leeberry50
Yeah that would work that way. Will try and contact them, thanks that approach didn't work as person isn't there anymore and they don't know who did it. They just add products Any other options/ideas
bsmither
The skin's config.xml file says that "Red Sun Design Ltd (http://www.redsundesign.co.uk) did it. The effect uses a javascript file that is specifically coded to show the details of this product line.
Leeberry50
Is there an easier way? Another way?
bsmither
Well, perhaps easier for the admin to work the options, but such a thing needs to be coded first. That, I would think, is the hard part. I've played around a bit with programs that allows for the building of survey/questionnaire apps. A survey app allows for branching and merging depending on the response to a node. Examples are "Survey Monkey" and "Lime Survey". Allowing for arbitrary options based on any other selected option is similar to a survey app and is not easy to code. I do not know of any existing "general" solution to your needs. Leeberry50
Ok thanks, is is it simple to add something like what is in use on this site. its not cube cart though I don't think. https://www.misterspex.co.uk/glasses/ray-ban-rx-5277-2077_f6504773.html add to basket brings up this https://www.misterspex.co.uk/INTERSHOP/web/WFS/MisterSpex-MisterSpexGB-Site/en_GB/-/GBP/ViewGlassOption-Start?SKU=6504773
