keat
We sell a number of drills in various sizes. If I search for part number d1/4 or d1/8, the results will show the 1/4" or 1/8", but if I search d1/2, then it only shows the metric sizes, and niether of these have the oblique. d12.0 and d12.5. Any thoughts what's going on with the search ? exactly the same with the next range QD. search QD1/2 and only the metric ones appear. keat
Interestingly, if i disable (using the stasus checkbox) D12 and D12.5, I can now search for D1/2, so why doesn't D1/2 appear when the other two products are enabled.
Dirty Butter
Take a look at the seo url for the two pairs. See how CC is handling the /. Maybe if you use the symbol code for the slash it will work.
keat
I can't see anything in the URL. Whats annoying is, if I use the admin side to search for the product, it appears. So what is the admin side doing differently to the customer side.
keat
I've just installed Semperfi's Ajax search plugin, which at least goes part way to finally fixing this search issue.
Dirty Butter
Good to hear the plugin is helping. But I tried your fraction naming on two test products, using my Bsmither designed search code. It worked correctly for both. Here are the two seo urls: Quote m-m-advertising-mascot-blue-plush-candy-character-d1/2-test m-m-advertising-mascot-blue-plush-candy-character-d12-0-test For some reason my slash is left alone in the url.
