adamfrey
I have version 5 and like it very much. I need to use PHP 7 on my website for some other parts of the website. Is there a way to write the php.ini so that I can make it use php 5.6?
bsmither
Welcome adamfrey! Glad to see you made it to the forums. I am not familiar enough with PHP to answer that, but I do think through some innovative directives in the .htaccess file, you can direct which version of PHP the web server will launch to run a given script. If I recall, I have successfully run CC5213 on PHP 7. I will have to double check. Edited October 31, 2017 by bsmither
havenswift-hosting
I don't believe there is any way that you can run mixed PHP versions within one account and can't understand why you would want to try as CubeCart V5 runs fine under PHP 7. Unless you have extensive core file changes to your current CubeCart store, then you should really consider upgrading
adamfrey
Mine doesn't work under php 7.0 when I change it on bluehost. Would it be related to my skin?
bsmither
We would ask that you create the error_log to determine what PHP 7 doesn't like about your installation of CubeCart. Edited November 5, 2017 by bsmither
