  1. CUSTOMER PAYS TWICE using the Square plugin version 1.1.6. I have had a couple of instances where the customer has paid twice for the same order. In my Square account the time stamp, $ value and order number are the same. Has any one else seen this?
  2. Hi Cubicsquare, Yes I use a weight based AIOS so the box is ticked. For me the resultant weigh at the checkout did not increase. I did not check if the price versus weight changed, but did check the total weight at the checkout using the settings/layout tab. As I have the " FREE shipping" extension set for under 0.4 kg a 0.2kg package weight reset the shipping value to more than zero. (Even though the option for free shipping was in the drop down box) This needs to be sorted before I use it. All part of a new version.
  3. On a similar note to onebrowncow. The "continue shopping" and "Empty Basket" buttons appears on a PC layout but disappears on a mobile layout. Is this a standard foundation issue? I note on one brown cow site the "empty Basket " button disappears on a mobile view. regards Duncan
  4. AllInOneShipping-1.0.22 is the latest version. I have found the update with the default packaging weight, needs some tweaking before being used. I assume that the default packaging weight is in kilogrammes, my default shipping mass. At the check out the packaging shipping weight is not shown in the total weight. ie a 1.0 kg packaging weight is not shown as an addition to the total weight. I await the next version before using default packaging weight.

(well it was) When I change from PHP Mail () Function to SMTP with TLS and click the test button I receive a positive response and an email: Testing email sent by "SMTP with TLS" from CubeCart v6.4.4 at https://www.harrisorganicwine.com.au/shop. If you are reading this message then you can be sure that email from your store is working. However, if I then click save and then click clear cache I get the same error as before. Any suggestions please, to return to SMTP with TLS. Many thanks.
  6. Hello, Suddenly, without changing any email settings, I am receiving orders but no email confirmation. In Store settings/ Advance I have tested the email with the following result. Then I used the PHP mail() Function, that works! Testing email sent by "PHP mail() Function" from CubeCart v6.4.4 at Any suggestions please, to return to SMTP with TLS.
  7. Good to see a topic on redirects with 6.4.1 onwards. For @onebrowncow, in google search console you can tell google to not index urls. See removals. Meanwhile, I would like to know how you found the item ID? Is there some where in the admin section of Cubecart or is can it be found in pHpmyAdmin or some where else.

  9. I have thought about this too. There is no ability within Stripe module. The answer is to add the percentage into your retail price or postage.

Hi, I spend lots of time cutting and pasting name and address data from cubecart orders to the Australia Post Eparcel page so I can print labels and get the parcels logged into the postal system. Does every one do this or is there a way to do this quickly? if you have 1000 orders per day, what do you do? regards Duncan
  12. I just limit the number of items available for purchase. ie I set the number to 2 bottles, so customers can purchase 1 or 2. Once sold I increase the number back to two. Even though it is painful, it works. An add on that limits the number of per order may be helpful.

  18. There some of the IP addresses I have captured. They get past the recommended capture code on this page: https://www.harrisorganicwine.com.au/shop/contact-us.html They are all have russian script in them and are arriving after changing the code in ini-custom.inc.php as above. Put them in your Banned IP Addresses list if you like. Meanwhile I have just added Russia as a country (in settings; countries and zones) with the status disabled. Will that make any difference?   19. Yep, I turned off the tax type so the gift certificate shows the gift card value only, not with tax added. In 6.4.1 its great to have separate SEO tags for GIFT Cards, now the issue that crops up for me is the output to the customer. Once the order for the gift card is placed the customer receives a standard email stating their Billing address and the Shipping address details, but NONE of the recipient details. So the customer is confused about where the gift card is going, or if it has been sent or received. It also means that a customer who orders several gift cards has no reference to who got what as the receipts are all the same except for the amount purchased. Should this be a github issue? PS Merry Christmas everyone.

  21. Hello, I would like to make some changes to the layout of the Foundation category skin. If you look at the following category url, you will see there is a lot of text above the box containing the products. https://www.harrisorganicwine.com.au/shop/organic-brandy.html On a mobile device it is a lot of scrolling to get to the products. What code needs to change so that some category text can be placed above and below the products box and changes to the category text can be made in the admin control panel?
  22. There is no problem now as the customer cant access the register page prior to shopping. However the underlying issue still exists. It has been put down to a windows server issue.
  23. Hi Brian, I passed this issue over to Al Brookbanks after trying myself several times. My site is hosted on a shared windows server, so the error logs were hard to get, but the host did get a copy of the error logs but Al could not find anything wrong. I ended up turning off registering prior to purchase so that customers can not find a register page until they get to the checkout. regards Duncan
  24. I saw this post about removing the initial register page as I have found new customers end up with a blank page after filling out the registration form. They can fill it out later at the checkout. However, after making the above change, I find that the register button is still on the login page. See below. What template page needs changing please?   25. Just to let you know what I did to get around this. Using version CC629 with A.I.O.S, I set the weight of the free shipping item to 0.1kg in AIOS where all my other goods are greater than 1kg. Then using the free shipping app I applied the following: Name : free shipping. Minimum subtotal: zero Maximum Order Weight 1.0 kg Hope that helps.
