Dirty Butter
Has this been working correctly in 5.0.7, or did you just upgrade from something else? If it was working, how long ago, and have you made any changes since then? Has your host made any changes? Be sure you deleted the cache from the folders, not from Maintenance. scythe000
It had been working correctly. AFAIK, no changes were made. I did delete the cache from the root folder "cache".
Dirty Butter
DUH.. of course you didn't do it from Maintenance. Sorry. I wish I knew enough to help. Hopefully someone else will be along soon with the answer.

bsmither
Please do these things in this order: Log in to your hosted account's control panel and look for any way to view error logs. If nothing... Log in via FTP and see if there is a log file you can download. If nothing... Contact your hosting provider. Ask them to discover the last errors logged from your account. Ask them if any changes to the server where your account is located has had any changes recently. Also from your hosted account's control panel (or some other account settings page), please determine the current version of PHP installed. It may be the case where the appropriate version of ionCube has not been updated if PHP has been updated to PHP 5.4. The Zend decoder has not (as of the last time I checked) been made to work with PHP 5.4.
scythe000
It's PHP 5.2...i'll look for other items. Any idea where i'd see an error log via FTP? Looks like I have the option to upgrade to php 5.3.
bsmither
When you access your site via FTP, and if your hosting company has set this up for you, there will be a folder above your 'html' or 'www' or 'doc_root' folder -- whatever the folder that holds your store files may be called -- and this other folder may be 'error' or 'logs' or something, along with maybe 'stats' or something that implies you can get at files that track accesses to your site. Your account's control panel may also have a link to show error files. There is no immediate need to upgrade your PHP away from 5.2.x. scythe000
I'm using GoDaddy. No access to upper level folder. Stats folder seems worthless. The Control Panel just shows traffic/bandwidth logs.
