CubeCart should send an Order Complete email when the order goes to completion -- when the admin moves it to completion or if there is a plug-in that moves it to completion. However, if the order has only digital-download items, CubeCart send the email with the download links only. In this case, CubeCart skips the Order Complete email. To edit the emails, in admin, Email Templates, click on the flag of the email you want to see/change. Then click the HTML Content tab. This is only true if the order is manually changed from Pending to Complete skipping processing. So; - if the order is paid for instantly it will go to processing then complete automatically if all items are digital. - if the order is paid for some other way you need to manually change the status to processing then complete.
