eerlewein
@Dirty Butter Not 100% sure this is right but maybe its: Left panel - bottom > PHP Info: This program makes use of the Zend Scripting Language Engine: Zend Engine v2.2.0, Copyright © 1998-2010 Zend Technologies with the ionCube PHP Loader v4.4.1, Copyright © 2002-2013, by ionCube Ltd., and with Zend Optimizer v3.3.9, Copyright © 1998-2009, by Zend Technologies
Dirty Butter
OK, that helped. Mine says v4.2.2. I had looked there, but was thrown by the Zend Scripting Language reference, since I knew that wasn't used past 5.2.5. So that means I need to install 5.2.7 and not use 5.2.6. THANKS!! Al Brookbanks
Hi Rosemary, it explains here how to see if Ioncube in installed. The "Server Info" link was changed to "PHP Info" from 5.2.6 which is more accurate. '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> with the ionCube PHP Loader .. Al Brookbanks
@eerlewein the .htaccess file in the public_html folder which powers WordPress is clashing with the .htaccess file for CubeCart in the public_html/shop folder. It's not a bug in 5.2.6 or 5.2.7. Maybe move WP to: http://mountaineer.us/blog/index.php Then you have either have a landing page at http://mountaineer.us/ or have an automated redirect to which ever you want to be default. Dirty Butter
Thanks for the link. I had seen that post, but I misinterpreted what it was about. I thought it was intended as a warning for those using the Zend loader. I didn't realize I needed to pay any attention to the specific version of PHP I had installed. I doubt I'm the only one who disregarded the warning. Sorry - didn't mean to hijack the thread. I thought the thread was about the Php version issue. Al Brookbanks
You can use CubeCart with any version of PHP from 5.2 and above.

"Upgrade naar nieuwste versie Uw winkel gebruikt momenteel de nieuwste versie. Klik kracht upgrade te herstellen naar de standaard code voor deze versie. FORCE UPGRADE" Thanks for the help. (Couldnt get to the owner yet but not needed now anymore). Regards!
Al Brookbanks
It will say "Force Upgrade" if you are on the current release. Looks like all is good now.
Dirty Butter
Glad it's fixed, but while you're here - what is the purpose of Force Upgrade?
Al Brookbanks
You can use it to overwrite all files with default code. Useful if you have made modifications that broke things you want to force back to default again. This topic has been closed.
