bsmither
If your database server is overloaded, it may "disappear". If the database server disappears, this is CubeCart's response: tell PHP to log an error. This error describes CubeCart's wanting to get a list of all the columns of a table from the database server. If the subject column(s) is not in the list, or no list is returned, CubeCart will not allow a query to use that column name and has PHP log a notice. Unfortunately, to CubeCart, a database server that has gone away is the same as no list having been returned.

bsmither
Your hosting provider can help. If this is a local development environment, and you have absolute control of everything, then there are a couple of settings for the databse server you should look at. An internet search for MySQL server has gone away will discuss those settings.
havenswift-hosting
6 hours ago, yangxuan said: Thanks for the response.how can i fix this problem, A lack of server resources is the cause, so if you have external hosting then use a better hosting company - very cheap hosting is that way for a reason with massively overloaded servers
Fireworkfan
Have to agree with Havenswift here. I had a similar problem and changed to a recommended hosting company (yes it was Havenswift) and not had the problem again. Its the old adage you pay for what yo get.
