seeing some databse errors

Any ideas how I fix these

 

CubeCart_category.cat_parent_id has no key set. Expecting KEY.

 

There appears to be a few of them

There are a couple of other threads in these forums asking the same thing but the best way is to use phpMyAdmin to add, delete or correct each one as appropriate to your errors - each site can possibly have different issues so no one set list of corrections

Using phpMyAdmin or some other database maintenance utility, find your way to the database structure, and observe the indexes for a given table.

The banner is suggesting that, for this table, there be an index (KEY aka INDEX) named cat_parent_id applied to the column cat_parent_id.

If a banner should mention PRIMARY, there is no name given to this index (as "PRIMARY" is the name), that is applied to the column.

I managed to fumble my way around some of the errors by creating a clean copy of cubecart.

Copied just the data from my faulty table to the clean table, then copy the newly built table back in to the database.

Whether or not I opened up a can of worms, time will tell.
