  1. My cart is doing exactly the same. It started doing it when the cubecart servers went down but it hasn't recovered since they came back up. I'm already on the latest version.
  2. Welcome to the club. It's been like this since yesterday for me. All they say on Twitter is that they're looking into it and giving all sorts of lame excuses. I'm just really glad my store hasn't gone live yet as I've still got time to switch to a company that provides decent support.
  3. Loads of problems again. Control panel is locked out. Ticket system can't be accessed and the responses I see on Twitter make me feel that I've chosen the wrong company. Time to reevaluate my options....
  4. I never upload manually. I generally upload via the image tab on the product. Click Browse and select the image required. Repeat for up to four files and then click Save. Works everytime without fail for me. I've also uploaded using the similar process on the File Manager/Images/Upload tab as well. Do you have the correct permissions set on the directories on the server?
  5. The compliance directives are site based rather than customer based.
  6. When you're editing the description click the Source button at the top left of the text editor. That will let you hand code the HTML in the same you did in the past. You can edit any new CSS you require to the CSS templates within the Styles folder/directory of the skin you are using. If you're only doing one section of description without multiple headings and tables etc you find that editing the CSS to reflect the font sizes you want is all you need without any editing. Firefox and Firebug are your friends when it comes to sorting this stuff out. You can edit the CSS on the fly to get the effect you want and use Firebug to tell you which line of the CSS to make the changes to. There's no magic bullet I'm afraid. If you don't want to use the text editor to "hard code" the formatting for each description you have to learn to use CSS and HTML.
  7. Look under the Features tab within Store Settings. 2nd item down lets you turn off reviews.
  8. I use the source edit within the text editor and just use CSS tags as normal.
  9. Are you saying that you can't drag the categories at all or after dragging they are not in the positions you dragged them to? Remember that once you've dragged them into position you have to click the Save button to lock the positions in. Works fine for me on 5.2.1 and 5.2.2
  10. They are examples of how to set it up. I live in the UK and set it all up using the Royal Mail zones for the new prices without any problems. Are you saying that you don't understand how to do it or that you want to pay someone to do it for you?
  11. What I posted should definitely do it as I had exactly the same problem on my store and checking the Disable Shipping Group box removed those headers.
  12. Is there a pre-defined ratio between the UK and US prices or are they totally different?
  13. I gave you examples of the settings you needed by private message. What part is it that is causing you problems? A lot depends on how you want to set it up and how you want it to appear to your customers. If you want to use the By Weight module rather than the All-in-One module then there are examples of how to configure that on the help menu in the Control Panel for the By Weight module or you can use this link - https://support.cubecart.com/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/74/45/how-do-i-configure-the-shipping-by-weight-module
  14. To remove the bold text in the shipping dropdown you need to go into the control panel go to Settings/Store Settings/Features and tick Disable Shipping Groups.
  15. File Manager/Images. Edit an existing image or load and edit a new one. The Image Cropper is the 2nd tab.
  16. Kraken

    Import tool?

There are some code snippets on the 3rd party forum. It's a great deal easier than writing a plugin but a new payment gateway is something (as far as I know) that you would need a full blown plugin for.
  17. You need to read up on the Distance Selling Regulations. You've got numerous breaches in your T&C's. Is that really made with CubeCart? Looks very much like another product to me.
  18. This is where I got the info to write plugins from https://support.cubecart.com/index.php?/Knowledgebase/List/Index/40/cubecart-version-5
  19. Bear in mind that whatever you do with disabling the right click it's incredibly easy to get around. If you're worried about people using your images it's often easier to just watermark them.
  20. Works fine for me so it's not an issue with CubeCart itself I'd say. Have you checked the source directory to see if the image has actually uploaded successfully? Can you add product images without issues?
  21. The country codes are all listed in the CC5 admin. Easier to use the zones. Royal Mail are incredibly expensive unless you're selling things that weigh a few grams though.
  22. The new shipping rates are available on a PDF download on the Royal Mail site. http://www.royalmail.com/prices-2013
  23. Just use the All in One Shipping module. Works perfectly for Royal Mail and it took me less than ten minutes to setup the prices and weights.
  24. Each to their own. I would hate to see all the options you want on one tab as I would constantly be scrolling up and down to make sure I had everything. Clicking sideways on tabs is so much easier in my opinion and the vast majority of alternatives I tried before settling on CC5 work in the same way so there has to be a reason for that. The architecture of CC5 is a million times better than the mess that is CC4 so I really hope they don't take a backwards step to what they had before. I too find it surprising that there aren't more mods out for CC5 especially given how much easier it is to modify. Perhaps that's the reason. End users are doing it for themselves. I'm not even close to being a web developer and I've managed to do every change I want without recourse to 3rd parties or support tickets.
