  1. Thanks for the explanation, Ian. I made an assumption I shouldn't have.
  2. I compared the recent commit from GitHub that I had already put in place successfully with the final changes in the release - NOTHING to explain it. SO I reverted the one change that could possibly have had something to do with this issue - I had changed to redis instead of memcached in global.includes.inc, since @havenswift-hosting had indicated in a GitHub comment that they had redis installed on their servers. As soon as I put it back on memcached - the problem was SOLVED!
  3. I had noticed when using BeyondCompare to do my merge with 6.1.0, that some had underscores while others had hyphens. But I didn't really understand what you said you did to fix it in the GitHub post. I don't know what to do to "validate" the language file names.
  4. Thanks!! Will give that a try. No such luck - took all plugins off, cleared all cache except images, cleared and rebooted browser.
  5. I've upgraded to 6.1.0 on a test site and on dirtybutterestates. Everything seems to be working correctly EXCEPT neither site is paying any attention to any changes to the Language files that I have previously made. I'm getting stock wording, even though I have the edited terms clearly showing in Admin>Languages. I've cleared language cache and browser and even rebooted the computer. I did open a GitHub issue last night: https://github.com/cubecart/v6/issues/1310?_pjax=%23js-repo-pjax-container But then I thought to see if I could replicate it on the CC Demo store. It is working correctly there. So... any ideas about which file(s) check for databased language wording changes and apply those changes to the definitions.xml stock versions?
  6. We've been using a renamed edited version of Foundation from the beginning. I always check to see if any Foundation files are changed in GitHub and then apply those changes to my skin version.
  7. This thread does not refer to the 6.1.0 upgrade, but an earlier version - @digiscrapcafe
  8. We run two CC stores. I load images from the Product Filemanager tab. I load them in the order I want them to appear, but on one store the FIRST image is the starred main image, and on the other store the LAST image chosen is the starred main image. I have absolutely no idea why they work differently, but as long as I use the appropriate sequence for each store, they both end up with a series of images in the order I want them to be.
  9. I always change the name of the new image - usually add a numeral to the name. That way CC won't try to use the old cached image. Have you cleared the image cache and your browser cache? Did you uncheck the old image in the Product Filemanager tab?
  10. I have years worth of old expired coupon codes in my database. Most were used on at least one purchase. Will it cause any issues in the Order /history, summary, etc. if I delete these old codes??
  11. Hopefully I split off all the correct comments having to do with @Max Magnus install issue. I can move something if it's in the wrong thread - just let me know.
  12. @jrjdegroot I think I've read that the FTP client would not have uploaded the empty folders required for temporary cache type activities. Please try the install again from your cpanel - uploading the zipped file, then extracting it from within your Filemanager on the server, and run setup again.
  13. How did you do the fresh install? Upload zipped file, extract, and run setup?
  14. Thanks, @Noodleman evidently I tried that plugin at some point!
  15. It's not a 6.1.0 change, as I'm seeing it on our live plushcatalog 6.0.12 store, as well as the test 6.1.0 store. It is NOT on the dirtybutterestates 6.0.12 store. I'll check the plugins I have on plush that are not on estates. I'm encouraged that you did not immediately say I'd been hacked. Thanks
  16. I just noticed this came_back_via_email database field on the CubeCart_order_summary table. All the entries are zero, but I have no idea what it's for, or if it is stock ,or created by a plugin ,or worse - maybe something's been hacked.
  17. We've been bombarded here at the house lately with the fake "Urgent Update" page popping up on FireFox and Chrome. Just to be sure we weren't infected accidentally, I've run several deep scans of late on our computers. But I'm guessing that many people have allowed this trojan onto their home networks. I keep Bluetooth turned off on our computers, but with so many bluetooth devices in people's homes now - it's very disturbing to hear that "Internet THINGS" could be the vulnerable attack point. Bsmither, thanks for the explanation of how DYN's part in all this affected so many sites.
  18. There was a widespread Denial of Service attack on a variety of very large and well known websites today. But I was a little surprised to see that GitHub was hit as well - even though it's likely not a site that the general public knows anything about or would ever use. Any thoughts?
  19. See https://github.com/cubecart/v6/issues/1291
  20. Did I remember correctly that you have a test Foundation site? If so, please try it on that one.
  21. Did you test that the item is still available for purchase while logged out of the admin side? I tried it with one of our items. My items still show in the store if they are out of stock. The item I chose to Make Unavailable still shows, the Details tab shows we have 10, but the BUY button says unavailable and is Not a link.
  22. Thanks for this @jpayam ! I can now use recaptcha without worrying about discouraging a paying customer!
