The spinning circle when the first page of the Admin loads has turned into a spinning rectangle with a cross in it. Why has this happened?

Hai, I'm using Cubecart V6 with the paypal pro gateway as my payment method. And I'm using Foundation as my skin of template. My scenario is : Non-member (Without Login) Customer can purchases and add item into their basket, and view it by click on "view basket". (the button will navigate them to xxxx.com/index.php?_a=basket) Member (Login) Customer can purchases the item, but the "view basket" button is failure. It navigate customer to (xxxx.com/index.php?_a=confirm). Previously it doesn't have "View Basket", I enable it via box.basket.php in skin, template. It is not only that, but it will shows the same url to customer when they press on login button during login process. (In order to confirm member had login, they need to press "back" button in browser and refresh the browser). Thanks

Hi How can i disable cash on Cubecart but keep performance as I want my product images list on google images search . after upgrading to cc6 i lose all my images listed on google images search thanks

I just did a website move from one server to another. The frontend is loading okay but I am getting a message 403 Forbidden when I try to access the Admin - see screenshot. How do I fix this? I managed to figure it out. mod security was on. Thanks

Hi Just want to clarify a couple of things with me being new to CC. I'm on version 6 and trying to understand the market place a bit better since I'm finding it slightly confusing. This may just be a case of me understand the terminology... So my installation of CC has a nice admin area where I can manage everything I need to but I'm missing a few features I'd like to develop. Before I start down this route I need to understand if and how I may perhaps share these on the marketplace as it may be something that others would find beneficial (I haven't wrote anything yet but wanted to get it straight in my head and start out on the right foot). The section under "PLUGINS" has a link to my list of installed "plugins" but the marketplace goes to "extensions". This is my first question. Are "extensions" the same thing as "plugins"? If they are then the extensions menu also has a sub section of plugins together with other categories which is confusing. If I wanted to write a module (I'm calling them module as I can't distinguish between all the terminology used) then this would have a complete set of installation instructions for CC to automatically install and update DB, PHP etc and probably write directories specific to the modules requirements etc. Is this what a plugin is and is a plugin a particular type of extension? If I wanted to write a code snippet, a product feed or a skin then these would all be regarded as an extension but not regarded as a plugin? Also is a code snippet something that is used under "Manage hooks" in the admin? I there a visual map or something? I'm struggling to write the questions so I'll stop here until I understand what all of this means.

Using latest version of V6 and Minimialiser skin. As a newcomer to CubeCart - looking to save some "digging time" - need to change way product line prices in basket are displayed. Product prices displayed elsewhere as Inclusive of VAT - but in basket are shown as Ex vat (as is the shipping charge). Simply need to change the price display of line prices & shipping to be Inclusive of VAT. The VAT line needs to stay as it is. I am a commercial user of other (paid) e-commerce platforms i.e. CS-Cart and am singularly impressed with CC! I'm Sure I played with earlier versions some time ago but now looking at it as a serious contender for some projects... Any help much appreciated.

Hi, I am new to the forum and new to CC I want to start creating my own template/skin but want to use bootstrap (the CSS framework I mean) over foundation as I have no experience with it and I've got an extremely tight dead-line* Would it just be a case of creating a new directory in the skins folder and start re-building each page using an existing theme as a base? *I've just switched from OpenCart so have a lot of the page content done so I can fit it into CC if I don't have a CSS framework to learn on top of all of this work. I used CC back in the v3 days and it was great for what I needed. These days, there is no shipping out of the box. You have to figure out how to get it all working. On top of that, nothing really works together well or fits nicely within what the titles describe. I don't mean to rant, more so offer assistance if interested. I am going to use a real life scenario, if it can be solved by a combination of existing modules, I retract everything I've said sans the figuring out how to setup shipping part. Let's say I want to sell coins. Raw and graded coins. I also don't trust anyone but USPS. To save everyone money, I will send US Priority and Flat Rate boxes. For security, if the purchase if over X dollars, then registered mail is required. Module breakdown: Per Item - Won't work, but promising. If someone buys 3 x graded coins, it will fit into a smaller package and go US Priority. If they order 4 to 8, Small Flat Rate, etc... If they order raw coins, the space required is much smaller and I can fit probably 10 into a smaller package. If shipping could be broken into specifying a price at an item by item level, it may work. By Weight - Won't work. Raw coins weight almost nothing but take up space within the package. Same issue as above. By Price - I may not fully understand this, but it didn't seem to work when testing the aforementioned scenario. All In One - This is the closest needed and I am thinking about extending it. What I really need is a shipping tab on the product page to specify overrides for global defaults. It can be abstracted out to a set of shipping options or case size options (maybe just a lookup table) and a builder tool. Something like some words and drop downs or text autofills ... Product -> Shipping Item Shipping Cost: $XX Items that fit in case: X Special Requirements: - Signature Required (Registered Mail) Then I test my scenario: Client purchases 10 raw coins and 3 graded coins. Raw coins are set a 10 per case and shipping at $2.95 for US Priority Mail. Graded coins have two per case. Which bumps it to the next size, Small Flat Rate. Success? Yes, but how did it know that 10 raw and 2 graded fit? This would introduce a dimensions aspect, which doesn't appear to exist. Why? Client purchases 21 raw coins. We have raw coins at 10 per case so we need 3 cases. That bumps it up to Medium. Success? Yes, but how did it know? The system would need to know how many of each item type can fit in each case size OR case sizes could be introduced in which they know how many of which item type can fit into a case. However, we don't have product dimension support nor a shipping module with a concept of shipping based on dimensions or cases that are multiples of the same size (i.e. 1 cubic foot, 2 cubic feet, etc...). Production options didn't seem helpful either, but again I may not be using them correctly. I did't see them get into the product/shipping level either. I don't see much that does get to the product level in regard to shipping. This could all be just too specific to be and either needs abstracted out a bit more or I would just have to run with it for my own use ... it also turned into a brain dump. Again, I don't mean to complain and do nothing about it. I would like to help. I am not the best but am PHP ZCE certified and have been doing this for like 15 years. Thoughts appreciated.

I want to charge a specific UK postcode it's own unique shipping rate eg SL3 0NS Is this possible? I can't quite grasp all the options. I don't want the rates to apply to all postcodes in SL3 - just SL3 0NS specifically. Thanks

Help! I upgraded to the latest Cubecart a few days ago. I saw the store was online so all seemed well. Today I tried to log into to admin and I'm getting a 404 error not found. Does Cubecart work with Redis?

well I attempted to do this <H1></H1> tag just like I did for another page. It worked for the other page but it didn't work on my contact-us.php page. I put both tags in shop/skins/mican/templates/main.php file. Hi, Please be indulgent with my english... I need some help to fixed taxes rates on shipping and coupon. I thought I was doing it well but it seems to have failed. There's no taxes applies on my shipping and there's something weird happen with taxes when I apply a coupon. I need to apply canadian taxes on shipping amount and I need to apply both of canadian taxes correctly on subtotal after the system calculate the coupon discount. Please help me!

We're located in California here in the USA, for customers that live in California, we have to charge a 8% sales tax. What it 'looks' like to me, is somewhere somehow, the customers are allowed to bypass the 'State' part of entering their billing address, sometimes I get orders with the state abbreviations rather then written out like the drop down box the Basket gives them (See example Images) The only thing that I can figure, is that when they get to payment processing (Authorize.net) I don't think that all the information entered isn't transferred over from the cart; By way that the payment processing page use to retrieve all the customer information directly from what they entered in the Basket (Example 3) So, if (in Example 3) I could understand if the "WA" was sent back to the cart after the transaction was complete and changed it in the CC database, but that wouldn't account for WHY it doesn't tack on the tax BEFORE getting to the Payment Processing Page I just did a test with an account I created and bought something expensive (See cart total) Then put Payment processor in "Test Mode" to see the results .... seems to be a problem on the CC end.

Hi all, Hope you can help as I'm a little stumped! One of our sites has recently been displaying some strange behaviour when adding items to the cart and within the cart itself. Adding an item only works sometimes, then visiting the cart itself it will display Empty Cart. Clicking the Update Cart button then will show the correct items in the cart. Even the Empty Cart button needs the Update Cart button to be clicked afterwards. As a little background: Theme: Custom version of the Foundation theme Version 6.0.8 (afraid of updating in case it breaks something) Hope someone has experienced something similar and can advise!

Every time I try to add an image to a product entry CubeCart says its updated the product after saving, but hasn't add the image. The images I'm using are well within CC's requirements. Can anyone please assist with this issue?

I need to add a banner for the paypal billmelater to my website, but it's in <script></script> form. I tried putting it in the Welcome Message text but it won't show the banner. I have spent 8 hours trying to figure out if I needed to tell javascript to be true, but i found so many references to javascript that I'm not sure where I have to change anything and I thought javascript was enabled cause I use recaptcha. Anyway if someone can help me figure out how to get this paypal banner that's in <script></script> form on my website I'd appreciate it. I have Cubecart 6.0.11. I do have the script already as given from Paypal. I could put it in my header too if that helps anyone help me. I use the Mican - Blue theme.

I just set up my cubecart store. But, when I tried to test the function with a registered account, I fund that after I placed the order, my test email box can't receive order confirmation emails. I've set the store admin>>Features>> Order status for admin email notifications to pending. But, when I registered a test account to purchase the product, there is no order confirmation email received. Don't know why is that, I'm I missing something, somebody help!

I only have a small webshop and I need to spend some time redeveloping it as I built it in 2009!. My products are under 100 so I figured rather than use Roman Cart I'd move to Cube Cart and try and do everything myself. I currently use Easy Space for my hosting on their pick and mix plan and PayPal and Roman Cart for payments. I'm quite computer literate - but thought I would find a 'Cube Cart for Dummies' online as I prefer to follow instructions. Unfortunately I've not found anything. I need to know where to the install the download, what database I need to set up, whether there are any template examples to follow, how to add skins etc. All basics so I can understand it better. I just find this kind of info anywhere. Am I missing it? I'd like to be integrating cube cart into my new website design but just have no clue where to start - although I am for the challenge!

I moved my site to a server running a PHP 5.4+ so I can install the new upgrade. After I moved the site (I hadn't installed the upgrade), I noticed none of my product images are showing in edit product / images picker or under the File Manager > Images tab. The images are showing on the front end and I can see them on the server.
