  1. In most cases, CubeCart doesn't need to know anything about which server it is on, unless you are using some resource external to the main web server such as an external database server, Memcache or REDIS server for caching.
  2. That is actually the whole point ! The Sitemap file that CubeCart creates is pretty basic and while it is much better to have something rather than nothing, a comprehensive Sitemap file (and that is before you start considering separate image, video, news Sitemaps !) contains so much more information than this and in addition, a good Sitemap creation system will create this automatically on a weekly, daily or hourly basis as needed. This is not a criticism of the CubeCart created Sitemap - it is what it is Ian
  3. I would strongly advise against excluding your products from your Sitemap - that isn't really a solution to your problem !
  4. If the problem started happening exactly when they moved you to new servers, then it is a pretty good chance it is related ! Why not ask them what the differences are between the two servers ? It could be a session issue and they should be able to work this out for you.
  5. I would also agree that it sounds like it is either hitting a memory or process time limit although your hosting company should be able to give you more details. With an inventory of that size, I would suggest a specialist xml Sitemap generation script which we generally use for most of our larger customers Ian
  6. The only people that can update an extension are the original submitter or @Al Brookbanks so that is why I suggested that if people did improve of the translation, to send me a PM. For a language, the changes will likely be databased, so they will need to be exported first and then the files can be sent to me
  7. Please note the following comment on the Swedish Language Extension page https://www.cubecart.com/extensions/languages/swedish-language "This is a Swedish language pack (se-SE.xml, email_se-SE.xml and se-SE.png) donated by one of our Swedish CubeCart V5 customers. It is currently incomplete with maybe 50% of the main language strings translated but none of the email strings done. It is provided as is with no support but in the hope that other Swedish store owners will download, complete the translation and export it. If changes / additions are made then please contact via a PM on the forums and the new version can be uploaded" This language pack has been downloaded over 500 times and must be being used in at least a few of them where it must have been improved and yet, not one person has provided an improved version back to help other future users !!
  8. Hi This would need to be a function of whatever payment gateway you are using, so for example if you have enabled PayPal and the client pays using that, in theory it would be possible (as you say, other systems do it for certain gateways) to change the order status to Refunded and that would automatically issue the refund. I am not aware of any payment gateways for CubeCart that have that functionality built in and therefore there is no Refund option as standard in CubeCart. We did build this functionality into our V4 Enhanced Admin Order Entry mod for the SagePay and Authorise.net payment gateways (which we also modified) but we didnt get much call for it and so havent yet added that as functionality to our V6 Enhanced Admin Order Entry plugin although this would certainly be possible if there is enough interest. Ian
  9. Magento uses massively more resources and even WooCommerce is higher / about the same as CubeCart - it is nothing to do with CubeCart but is the hosting package you are running as has been mentioned by several different people on here. We have many hundreds of customers (a number of them are regular users on this forum) and a large number of them access our own website on a daily basis. I have checked your IP address (as shown on these forums) and it is not blocked on the server running our own company website. Have you tried running a trace route as I previously suggested - that will immediaqtely indicate where the problem lies - download and run that on your PC / device and PM me the output
  10. What version of CubeCart did it install and do you have access via FTP or cPanel File Manager ? If using the very latest versions 6.1.0 or 6.1.1, then the admin.php and /admin folders are renamed for security reasons so you cannot go to http://www.yourstore.com/admin.php any longer Ian
  11. A VPS is generally not a good idea for non technical users and should not be needed for most CubeCart sites - as I already said, a properly configured shared hosting server can support some very large sites Optimizing your database can be a good idea but will have no effect on this issue Our website has been working perfectly - you seem to be the only person not able to see it - what URL are you trying to go to. Your current hosting is too restrictive and there is nothing you can do except get better hosting
  12. Hi Phillip You are very welcome - glad to be able to help ! Ian
  13. The limit you are likely reaching is the 15 connections per account which isn't a lot and certainly not enough for 66 concurrent users ! I dont know why you cannot see our site but can assure you that it is working perfectly and have multiple customers accessing it consistently today - you could try a trace route.
  14. I suppose it depends on what you mean by a lot but regardless of amount paid, they aren't even allowing you enough resources to run CubeCart properly ! To stay with them and put up with a non working site doesn't seem logical ! As far as our site is concerned, it is currently and has been working perfectly Ian
  15. Hi Phillip You are talking about kg and pounds in your reply or do you mean kg and currency GBP ? It is impossible to answer your questions without knowing exactly how you have setup your products and the AIO shipping module. The AIO module does work very well but it can be confusing initially Ian
  16. Your method will never work and even if you put it in detail on a shipping document or even on each product page, customer will either miss or deliberately ignore it and choose the cheapest shipping offered - you then have to decide whether to suck up the shipping or try to get them to pay extra which rarely works. Set up sensible rates based on weight and taken from the Royal Mail shipping costs - it is the best way Ian
  17. You should either build the cost of shipping into your product price or better still use the All in One Shipping module properly configured to use different rates based on weight depending on the region you are shipping to Ian
  18. CubeCart (in common with many other applications) doesnt close database connections as regularly as is perhaps could but to be honest, unless you have a huge number of concurrent customers then your current hosting is far too restrictive and you should look to change to a better hosting company. We have some very large CubeCart customers with huge numbers of visitors that operate perfectly well on our shared hosting services. Ian
  19. 6.1.1 has quite a few useful fixes for 6.1.0 so I would recommend upgrading manually - to be honest I always upgrade all sites manually.
  20. What is the url of the site and are you sure that the SSL is still valid ?It may simply be that you need to renew the SSL - if you havent used it since March and it is now November that is the most logical explanation
  21. I agree - there looks like a problem with the implementation of redis as all keys are being stored in DB0 regardless of what is specified in the redis_options parameter. I will work with Al to try and get this fixed
  22. Hi Rob Thanks for the clarification and kind words and I now see from our records that you did briefly use the plugin and did indeed remove it via FTP without disabling it first and that will cause these types of PHP notices. Ian
  23. Have you checked that you are running the very latest version of the All in One Shipping extension - check via "Manage Extensions" against the latest shown here https://www.cubecart.com/extensions/shipping-methods/-all-in-one-shipping
  24. The Enhanced Order Entry plugin is one of ours although I dont see you as a current user of this plugin either as a paid client or even using a demo copy ! It is possible that you had a demo copy installed at one point and deleted the plugin directory without disabling the plugin first - these types of error messages are typical of that behaviour with all plugins and not specific to ours but if you need support for this issue then please log a ticket via our website Ian
