grafis
Registrations are not generating emails to the user or admin after upgrading from 4.3.7 to 5.1.4. "Recover Password" is the only User related "Email Template" I can see. Users and admins do receive emails when orders are placed. How can I send the user a "Welcome" email with all pertinent information and send admins a notice letting them know of a new customer? bsmither
As of CC514, sending a Welcome! email to new registered customers is not part of the feature set. As such, please visit www.cubecartforums.org to express an interest in getting such a feature developed.
grafis
Surely you can't be serious. http://forums.cubecart.com/topic/46190-cubecart-514-released/
grafis
Having perused the forums it appears upgrading to 5.1.4 was a bad decision. Should I roll back to 4.3.7 or wait for 5.1.5?? Customer was dying for the ability to search for items by product code...
grafis
CubeCart support confirmed that there is no new user Welcome/Confirmation email in v5.x Has anyone here ever signed up for anything online and not received a confirmation email? Dirty Butter
There would be no reason for anyone to register on our stores unless they were going to buy something. Every once in a while an order stays at Pending, and we write them then. But otherwise they get an email from us when their order Processes. So I've never even thought about a Welcome email. markscarts
Agreeing this is pretty much standard procedure across the web, though. A registration confirmation email is very useful for many reasons.

Dirty Butter
I think you get 70 Support Tickets included with your purchase of CC, so you don't necessarily have to buy a ticket - most would not.
vit320
I receveid only 20 tickets and cc staff decided of delete it because i asked for several bugs...i asked more they said...ahahah they are ridiculus...so i never asked them other tickets... Dirty Butter
I stand corrected on the number. I've been using CC for several years now and have yet to have to buy a support ticket.
