keat
I'm running my own dedicated cpanel server, with full access to ssh and whm etc Now that my V3 sites on this server have been updated to V6, i'm planning on updating PHP and MySql etc, possibly even Easy Apache. As my server only runs Cubecart sites, i'm not concerned about compatability with anything else. Two are 6.1.5 (with the PHP 5.4 work around), and one site is on 6.0.10 which I'll probably update to 6.1.5 after the server has been updated. Is there a list of tested versions that V6 will run with.
Al Brookbanks
If you upgrade to EasyApache 4 you can specify the PHP version for each domain which should help. CubeCart v6 will be fine with MySQL and MariaDB. V6 will run with all PHP versions 5.4.0 and above including PHP 7.1.
keat
If I chose maria, would there be anything else to perform
Al Brookbanks
Not if your current configuration works. The CubeCart demo store is on Maria 10.
jasehead
I know I'm resurrecting an old topic, but if the CubeCart demo store is on MariaDB 10.0 then is there a plan for CubeCart continue to support both MySQL and MariaDB if the Maria fork starts to diverge from MySQL in later versions? Also, any issues with Litespeed as an Apache replacement?
robertbell
WFM on LiteSpeed V6.11.
bsmither
I plan to adopt support for MariaDB (if CubeCart doesn't). I also wrote a MS_SQL class, but ultimately failed because, at the time, MS_SQL did not do certain things that CubeCart relies upon. I do not know about LiteSpeed. Basically, any webserver will suffice provided it can rewrite URLs.
Al Brookbanks
CubeCart works beautifully on recent MariaDB releases. Go for it.
