  1. Hi, I have just updated our cubecart store, but upon logging back in to the admin area, when I have tried to access the product inventory tab, the browser comes back with the page is unable to handle this request. When I try to aces the main storefront, all the products are visible, with all the correct information on display, even one product I added just before performing the update. All the other admin tabs are available to click on and access, with only the language section, when I click on the language, doing the same thing. Also, the latest products on the homepage won't add to basket, but when clicking on the product and clicking add to basket from it's own page it is fine. I have tried a restore of a backup, but this hasn't made any difference. Any help and advise would be appreciated. Chris
  2. Hello! Right now a quick search on my site (CC615) works in 'exact' mode: I have several goods with the word 'Tales' in a title and several goods with 'tales' in a title. When I search for 'Tales' I receive only goods with 'Tales', search 'tales' gives results with 'tales'. When I search 'tale' or 'Tale', I receive results with 'Tales' and 'tales'. However, I would like to receive results with 'Tales' and 'tales' in any kind of search ('Tales'/'tales'/'tale'). How can I switch search engine to 'like' mode? P.S. I merged #1520, replace a piece of code according to Dirty Butter and bsmither comments from /topic/52298-resolved-a-space-messed-up-a-search/ . Also I changed catalogue.class.php - replace fulltext on RLIKE in the line #1571 - public function searchCatalogue($search_data = null, $page = 1, $per_page = 10, $search_mode = 'fulltext') But it makes results worse - I received results only for 'Tales' or 'tales' words, but not for 'tale'. P.P.S. Unfortunately, I'm not a developer, so I can miss something obvious :-(
  3. Hello! I found that group operation 'Assign to category' works strange. Steps to reproduce: 1) Products->Assign to Category 2) Choose all goods by tick in the title line (as well as for manual ticking all goods), choose category, press Save 3) Return to Products tab. No category marks for all goods. 4) Enter to any product, change nothing, Save 5) Return to Products tab. Category name shows for the product from step 4. Is it a bug or a feature?
  4. Hi, I am using the AddThis plugin provided by Cubecart. I use it only at product page level. At the moment, the default position of AddThis on the storefront is just between the product description and reviews. I would prefer to have it higher on the page, like below the price for instance. I have been looking at the files of the plugin and my skin templates and it is not obvious. There is obviously a file calling on that plugin somehow but I cannot identify it. Would anyone know ?     API-key

    Hi, I am attempting to make my first online e commerce shop, so I have a a lot to learn. I have a supplier, who has an API-key for me to use, but I can't find where to insert this API-key, do I need an extension for using it? I have tried to google a lot about it, but I can't find any useful information about it. I don't know much about API, exept for it exchange datas between supplier and the online shop, so I would like to know if an API-key can insert pictures and information on a website like a CSV-file? I would appreciate any information about it, and how to insert this API-key.
  6. Hi I am using Foundation skin I have the Hide out-of-stock product checked but still shows in cart and lets me add to cart. Also when I check (Quantity discounts available) It does not bring it up. Thanks for any help with this Ray
  7. Noticed that when a customer is logged in, a menu box opens and several options are offered like profile, orders, etc and one called "More ...". When you click on it, you actually get a page with all the options displayed so really this should be called "My Account". Looks like an error to me. I therefore made the following changes in skins/my-skin-name/templates/box.session.php I replaced <li class="text-left"><a href="{$STORE_URL}/index.php?_a=account" title="{$LANG.account.your_account}">{$LANG.common.more}&hellip;</a></li> with <li class="text-left"><a href="{$STORE_URL}/index.php?_a=account" title="{$LANG.account.your_account}">{$LANG.account.my_account}</a></li> and moved it just under <ul id="session" data-dropdown-content class="f-dropdown"> so that this is the first option now listed.
  8. Hi, Another issue that I need to address before I close my V4. At the moment, when a customer wants a product exchange or a refund, I go back into the original order and I manually add a comment in the product options box like: - original order options: SIZE: - LARGE - amended order: SIZE: - LARGE - returned & exchanged for a size MEDIUM on 17/03/2017 or SIZE: - LARGE - returned & refunded on 17/03/2017 This is critical for future records. At the moment with V6, I really cannot see how I can keep this level of records. I cannot manually add text within the product options under the inventory so I was wondering whether we could add a box just under each product options that admin use for comments ? What do you think ? It needs to be per product as of course not all products in one order are returned for an exchange or refund. It would also need to be visible on the website when customers check their order history. I am not even asking for a system linked to the actual stock level where it is automatically adjusted as this is probably too much to ask as a short term solution, so I will continue to do a manual stock adjustment. Maybe an idea for a future plugin for developers out there ;-). Any advice would be most appreciated. Thanks S.
  9. As I am upgrading my store from 4 to 6, I use Custom SEO URL Path a lot to match my current V4 URLs which is something like productname/prod_300 or whatever number. I did the URL paths at least 2 or 3 months ago but in the last few days I was trying to add new products and I noticed that the Custom SEO URL Path does not accept symbols anymore like "_" . If I use it, it will return a page 404 or show the listing saved after, as long as no symbol has been used in the URL. So example: V4 URL = cotton-top/prod_310.html V6 URL normally required = cotton-top/prod_310 but does not work anymore I wonder if this issue would have come from one of the latest updates ?

  11. Hello! I prepare to add images into my site (default v6 + foundation skin) and I confused. What is optimal size/resolution for images? Also I'm trying to figure out how image cache and image resize algorithm works. I'm going to use images with 800 pixels of largest side. Is it necessary to change something in the config.xml ? In addition I see strange behavior of the engine for products page. When I open a product, I see only a half of the product image. When I refresh this page I see a full image. Screenshots are attached. How it would be possible to improve it? Thank you.
  12. Hi, Is there anyway to disable or remove the pop up mini basket that appears when you click on the $ 0.00. I want to put the view basket button next to this ($0.00) and perhaps the secure checkout button as well. And I don't want the "Your cart is empty" message to pop up either. All this while not distrubing how it works for the small displays. Thanks in advance for any and all help Claudia

Hi Looking at the search facility, found 2 interesting threads but I cannot deduct from reading these, whether any of the recommendations will resolve the issue of providing search results for singular and/or plural. At the moment, if I do not use the two words in my product description, ie socks and sock, the search results will only show the product listing that has the exact word in the description and miss the others. S.

  18. Hi, I would like to support multiple languages (ie. French & English), I would add a choice just like currencies and am familiar with code hooks. Has anyone done this or can you offer some guidelines. The way I see it there are two parts to this - 1) The language associated with the inventory 2) The default store language. Many Thanks, Chris. Hi All, I am trying to get facebook to work from the general stores settings but unfortunately when I select the facebook icon on either the product details page or a site document I end up with a message that says: Sorry, this feature isn't available right now: An error occurred while processing this request. Please try again later I'm using the version 6.1.3 and the skin template is Mican I must be missing something in my setup but for the life of me cannot see what so if somebody could help I would really appreciate it Best Regards, Peterp
  21. Hi, I have spent many hours improving my "print invoice", the one you can print from admin, not the one the customer can print from the website. However, I am facing a constant headache. The header does not stop changing height depending on the number of product listed below into the "info" div, so none of my invoices are identical from a header point of view. The 2 files concerned are: /admin/skins/default/templates/orders.print.php with the css file /admin/skins/default/styles/print.css I have tried all sorts in the css to add a height for the header but nothing I actually modified in that css seems to have an impact on the print.php file which I found very strange. I ended up making style modifications into the php file, not all good practice, like div spacer, etc ... So does anyone know how to fix that issue or maybe there is another css file that actually overpowers the print.css which would explain why none of my changes are working ? Thanks S.
  22. Hello, In Cubecart 4, we can manually adjust the "payment method" box within an order. This is great when creating manual orders or even amend an online order which failed online but completed over the phone for payment. In Cubecart 6, this function has gone. Under the overview tab of the order, I can see that a Gateway type appears under the "Shipping Information" table if the order has been processed online. However, if I process a manual order, there is no gateway type box for me to enter "PAID BY PHONE" for the records, nor can I amend an existing online order which failed but processed over the phone. Yet I can amend all Shipping Information under the Delivery tab but no box for Gateway... Does anyone know which files to amend and the code change required to make that box a permanent feature under the Delivery tab please ? Many thanks. S.
  23. I've seen some discussion about this but haven't seen this particular question answered. Is it possible (and relatively easy) to remove the Billing Address from registration? PayPal is the only payment option I'm using so it's extraneous. I suppose an alternative (cosmetic, anyway) might be renaming "Billing Address" to "Delivery Address" if I could somehow remove the "Deliver to billing address" checkbox.
  24. Is it possible at all to make the manufacturers field behave as a tag? So the manufacturer on a product page would link to all products from that manufacturer? If not, is it possible to search manufacturers? Or perhaps build a link that would return those results? In my case, I'm building a shop for books so I'd love some sort of tag (or tag-like) system for either publishers or authors. I searched the forums and Google with every combination I could think of but am hoping I've just missed the solution somewhere. Thanks very much,
  25. This new Lloyds Bank payment gateway plugin looks interesting and offers a potential solution for my needs. Before I experiment, has anyone been there before, and have they written a review? Haven't been able to find one yet.
