Hi there, i am hoping you can help me please. I have downloaded version 6.0.10. Everytime I try and add a product the computer just keeps searching. I have tried to do this on my desktop, my husbands desktop and my mobile but it just keeps searching. There are also some errors which have come up on the date that I installed it and today as below. I did find line 641 but do not know how to add the wording below and/or override the coding that is already there. I have used an older version of cubecart before and I do love the program but I am feeling a little disheartened at the moment as I need to get this website up and running as soon as possible please. Hello, every time I log into the admin section I get this warning message, Warning:Please delete the setup folder from store directory, your store may be at risk until you do. Where is this folder on the server or in admin? And why would I be at risk? thanks

Im using usps plug in with shipping option selected as variable unknown. is there a way to add product dimensions so the shipping will choose the right option instead of offering a small box if its a bigger item? hope i explained myself well, sorry, new here. The only option for product shipping calculation i have right now is for weight, not sizes.

I am using the new update 6.0.10 and I am unable to delete a category. it says failed to delete category, as it contains one or more products. there is nothing in the category.

I upgrade from 6.0.8 to 6.0.10 last Thursday All orders since that date cannot have their status changed by Admin What happens is a "blank screen": Chrome reports 'No data received'. Firefox reports 'The connection was reset' The apache error log shows nothing. Hmm, and I just looked at the access log and that is showing nothing too, no request gets sent to the server The original status change from Pending to Processing that happens when a payment succeeds *is* happening. We have checked changing "Pending" to any other status, and "Processing" to "Complete" and all result in the behaviour above PHP version 5.3.3 Apache 2.2.16 Ah, apache "root" error log is reporting "child pid XXX exit signal Segmentation fault" which Google tells me is likely to be some sort of internal PHP error - any chance anyone in the know about what has changed in the order status change code that might be relevant to this?

Hello community, I couln´t find a thread which is helpful for my problem / question. I want to sell digital goods for to download after received payment. In my case the products are downloadable already when the customer simply clicked the checkout button. But I want that this is only possible when the invoice is definitely paid. How do I have to configure this, or what must I do? Thanks a lot, Thomas

I am using the new update 6.0.10. i went to login and instead on using /admin i had to use /admin.php . if i use /admin i get a server 404 error. this just happened and not sure why. was working earlier today and suddenly switched. the hosting company could not fix to go back to the /admin and said i had to use /admin.php from now on.

can somebody help me? I am unable to change order status pending to processing. but I can change it to cancelled and complete order. i get error server error 500 The website encountered an error while It may be down for maintenance or configured incorrectly.

I am having some issues upgrading from 6.0.8 to 6.0.10. The automatic upgrade from the admin does not work, so I tried to do a manual upgrade. After I uploaded the files to my server, I navigated to the setup directory and went through that process. There were no incompatibility warnings or anything of that nature. Once the upgrade was complete I could successfully navigate to the admin, but the front end of my site just loaded a blank page. The error logs in the admin didn't show anything. I tried enabling ini_set('display_errors') to true in the debug.class but it still didn't give me anything. I have upgraded this site several times successfully (manual and automatic), but I am at a bit of a loss as to what is causing the issue with this particular upgrade.

I am not sure this is achievable at all, anyway I will try to explain: Let's say I have a bag in my inventory called "Wilma" and that comes in blue, green, red and black color. Each product has its unique product code as I need to keep stock levels. My question is as follow: Is there a way to create A "wilma" product, assign a drop down option with 4 different colors and then, when a customer select the choice of color, the corresponding product code is also assigned to the system and, once this is purchased, the product is removed from the stock? Ideally I would like to avoid populating the store with lots of similar products and make the customer experience easier to browse. I have seen the Product options and I can see there is a way to create a group of colors but I miss the other part, how to link that color to a specific product. Thanks in advance everyone

Hi, I'm thinking that there's a simple answer to this, I hope someone can help. We ship to all postcodes in the UK apart from a few in the Western Isles, therefore I need to remove the postcodes in that location from the shipping options. The only way I can see to do that is to enter ALL other UK postcodes into a shipping ZONE, If it were possible to have a 'we do not ship to zone' then it would be much simpler, or is there a better way. Before the last upgrade the USPS had calculated International USPS rates wrong. I deleted the old USPS plug-in, cleared cache, etc, then installed the new USPS plug-in set it up wiht both domestic and international and am still getting the same error. What it is doing is calculating US Domestic rates, showing them, and never going to the International rates. We have added a $3.50 "handling" fee to help offset the cost of signature required, so if you check the post office rates at https://postcalc.usps.com/ you will see our rate is different than either domestic or international. However, First-Class Package International Service to South Africa on a 4 ounce package should be USD 13.25 NOT USD 6.84 which is domestic USA first class package rates (with the extra $3.50) See attached How do I get it to calculate or show and use International Rates when the shipment is for International, and the buyer enters an International address for ship to address? By the way, the error in International rates that just happened, the buyer entered an international Bill to, and International Ship To address. Both in South Africa.

Argh..! Just installed cubecart v6.0.10 and according to the installer everything went right. However, after creating several categories and one products I have just realised that clicking in any of the links to either pages or categories yields no result. Few details: Site was installed manually and was not part of "One click install" software from hosting provider. During installation all instances were marked green and no issue was encountered. During installation some of the folders permission had to be chmod to 777 as 755 was still considered unwritable. Anyone has a clue? Thank you in advance all

I need to increase the width of the minimaliser skin, The template has 8 css sheets, some are a reference only, I can't seem to find anywhere to edit this detail as I would like to set it to full width. Does anyone know where this is hiding? thanks for your help

Hey Folks, This post is slightly irrelevant but let me post it anyway. With CubeCart 5 or 6 which point of sale or inventory tracking software do you use in your shop? If you aren't using anything how many of you would be interested to use a point of sale system that is integrated with your cubecart store. Your feedback is greatly appreciated.

Where can I see the system requirements for each version of CubeCart. I am particularly interested if Cubecart 5.2.17 will run on PHP 5.5?

I don't get into CubeCart often enough to remember where things are. I'm running V6 of CC. On the "basket" page there is text that reads "Gift Certificate or Coupon". My client would like it to read something different. Where can I go to change this? thanks!

Hi Everyone I just updated to 6.0.9 - all good apart from some code appearing at the top of every screen (admin and live site). A quick investigation suggests that this is security related which is a bit of a worry. Can anyone advise me what to do? Where/how can I manage and send emails to customers once the dispatch has been made? I would like to add the docket number and url of the courier company to an email and have that sent to the customer for his/her tracking.

Hi, I have looked around the forum and want to change the $store url to my non store home page ie https:www.example.com.au/ instead of https:www.example.com.au/ store. I want to customer to be able to click on the LH icon and go to https:www.example.com.au/ leaving the house for the store home. I though it may have been box.navigation.php, but no. Also is it best to make a parameter like $STORE_HOME, if so how to do it.?

I just upgraded my store to 6.0.9 enabled caching and noticed that the Storefront appeared completely distorted. I then proceeded to the System Error Log and noticed that I have over 2000 messages which say: [Warning] /home/andromed/public_html/classes/cache/memcached.class.php:219 - Cache data not written (Memcached). I have disabled the caching and now everything is back to normal. What is the problem with the caching?
