I just upgraded to 6.10 a few nights ago. A customer contacted me asking if their order went through, and it did. I received payment from Paypal, and everything was good on my side. However, he said after putting in his payment information that after checkout he got a blank page that simply said "Fatal Error". I can only assume he was trying to return back to the website after payment was made. Has anyone else experienced this? I have absolutely no errors in my system or admin logs in CC and I don't believe there is a way to check error logs in Paypal?

Hello, I am very new to Cubecart. I have ebooks to sell though would prefer to set up each title with a dropdown menu for format choice (eg.g, epun, mobi or even hardcopy). Need some assistance to do this. Need each choice to provide a separate link (via email) that will download the correct format. Also I have noticed that many Cubecart users have the cart/checkout opening as one of their webpages. Please point me to some guidance to set this up. Thanks Jo.

I had an order come in yesterday with 4 items in the cart. 2 x $8.00 = 16.00 1 x $54.00 1 x $54.00 Total should have been $124 However, the total came up $70.00 + shipping. The customer completed checkout through paypal and paid the 70 and shipping. I have since closed the store to try and find out why this is occuring. I can't see any reasoning. I do not have coupons or anything of that nature to cause this. I am running 6.0.8

DirtyButter, Can YOU tell me how you use BeyondCompare for your upgrades? I use a MAC so a lot of the tools aren't available, but I see BeyondCompare is available for Mac. I am tired of redoing mods after each upgrade. Since I don't see changelogs anymore, what's the best way to use this BC tool?? I appreciate your help!!

New Cube cart user here. I have had it loaded on the server a few days just tinkering around and learning how it works. Started entering products yesterday, got a few entered and was able to do an export of all 7 of them, worked great. Added a few more as well as background stuff like part numbers, weights, raw descriptions. I then imported and had it do a full overwrite of products. I then went into cubecart and formatted out the descriptions, added images, set categories. Now I am looking at doubling the inventory by adding a different weight of each product. I tried to do a catalog export and it is only exporting 4-5 products and a few times has said there are no products to export? I know I can do entry in cubecart, but doing base new items in a spreadsheet is so much easier since a bulk of the information is the same for every item. Can anyone help?

Hi, How can I save or create Product description Templates? How can I have my own templates apear in the list when clicking the templates icon? If I click the save icon on the description creating window the product "saves" and takes me to the product list. But it doesn't save the work really and doesn't open any window to select folder to save to or nothing. I must click the bottom Save or Save and reload to save the work but not as a template.

Hi, I'm new to cubecart but have pretty good css and html knowledge and some php knowledge too, however I am struggling to find how to remove the white space between the logo image and the documents bar. Both are sitting in a class called 'row' but I cannot find it to remove the padding. It seems to change with the screen size but alas i doesn't seem to be in the @media sections either. Hi there, i am hoping you can help me please. I have downloaded version 6.0.10. Everytime I try and add a product the computer just keeps searching. I have tried to do this on my desktop, my husbands desktop and my mobile but it just keeps searching. There are also some errors which have come up on the date that I installed it and today as below. I did find line 641 but do not know how to add the wording below and/or override the coding that is already there. I have used an older version of cubecart before and I do love the program but I am feeling a little disheartened at the moment as I need to get this website up and running as soon as possible please. Hello, every time I log into the admin section I get this warning message, Warning:Please delete the setup folder from store directory, your store may be at risk until you do. Where is this folder on the server or in admin? And why would I be at risk? thanks

Im using usps plug in with shipping option selected as variable unknown. is there a way to add product dimensions so the shipping will choose the right option instead of offering a small box if its a bigger item? hope i explained myself well, sorry, new here. The only option for product shipping calculation i have right now is for weight, not sizes.

I am using the new update 6.0.10 and I am unable to delete a category. it says failed to delete category, as it contains one or more products. there is nothing in the category.

I upgrade from 6.0.8 to 6.0.10 last Thursday All orders since that date cannot have their status changed by Admin What happens is a "blank screen": Chrome reports 'No data received'. Firefox reports 'The connection was reset' The apache error log shows nothing. Hmm, and I just looked at the access log and that is showing nothing too, no request gets sent to the server The original status change from Pending to Processing that happens when a payment succeeds *is* happening. We have checked changing "Pending" to any other status, and "Processing" to "Complete" and all result in the behaviour above PHP version 5.3.3 Apache 2.2.16 Ah, apache "root" error log is reporting "child pid XXX exit signal Segmentation fault" which Google tells me is likely to be some sort of internal PHP error - any chance anyone in the know about what has changed in the order status change code that might be relevant to this?

Hello community, I couln´t find a thread which is helpful for my problem / question. I want to sell digital goods for to download after received payment. In my case the products are downloadable already when the customer simply clicked the checkout button. But I want that this is only possible when the invoice is definitely paid. can somebody help me? I am unable to change order status pending to processing. but I can change it to cancelled and complete order. i get error server error 500 The website encountered an error while It may be down for maintenance or configured incorrectly.

I just updated from 5.14 to 6.0.8 and when someone buys something and then decides to buy something else after the first purchase it keeps the first order # and uses it on the second order and the first order disappears from the admin screen. any idea what this is? 123456-789012-3456 when pushed goes to 151102-140704-4276 and shows another customers order with their address to the initial customer. it erased both orders and linked one order to the other order. is this a bug?

Hi Everyone I just updated to 6.0.9 - all good apart from some code appearing at the top of every screen (admin and live site). A quick investigation suggests that this is security related which is a bit of a worry. Can anyone advise me what to do? Hi, I'm thinking that there's a simple answer to this, I hope someone can help. We ship to all postcodes in the UK apart from a few in the Western Isles, therefore I need to remove the postcodes in that location from the shipping options. The only way I can see to do that is to enter ALL other UK postcodes into a shipping ZONE, If it were possible to have a 'we do not ship to zone' then it would be much simpler, or is there a better way. Before the last upgrade the USPS had calculated International USPS rates wrong. I deleted the old USPS plug-in, cleared cache, etc, then installed the new USPS plug-in set it up wiht both domestic and international and am still getting the same error. What it is doing is calculating US Domestic rates, showing them, and never going to the International rates. We have added a $3.50 "handling" fee to help offset the cost of signature required, so if you check the post office rates at https://postcalc.usps.com/ you will see our rate is different than either domestic or international. However, First-Class Package International Service to South Africa on a 4 ounce package should be USD 13.25 NOT USD 6.84 which is domestic USA first class package rates (with the extra $3.50) See attached How do I get it to calculate or show and use International Rates when the shipment is for International, and the buyer enters an International address for ship to address? By the way, the error in International rates that just happened, the buyer entered an international Bill to, and International Ship To address. Both in South Africa.

Argh..! Just installed cubecart v6.0.10 and according to the installer everything went right. However, after creating several categories and one products I have just realised that clicking in any of the links to either pages or categories yields no result. Few details: Site was installed manually and was not part of "One click install" software from hosting provider. During installation all instances were marked green and no issue was encountered. During installation some of the folders permission had to be chmod to 777 as 755 was still considered unwritable. Anyone has a clue? Thank you in advance all

I need to increase the width of the minimaliser skin, The template has 8 css sheets, some are a reference only, I can't seem to find anywhere to edit this detail as I would like to set it to full width. Does anyone know where this is hiding? thanks for your help

Hey Folks, This post is slightly irrelevant but let me post it anyway. With CubeCart 5 or 6 which point of sale or inventory tracking software do you use in your shop? If you aren't using anything how many of you would be interested to use a point of sale system that is integrated with your cubecart store. Your feedback is greatly appreciated.
