Hi all, I am using Paypal Standard and have selected the option of writing the path to the logo.gif, (/modules/gateway/PayPal/admin/logo.gif), still no logo is displayed. I have read previous posts here (CC V5) that was suggesting to make changes to the file: (classes/sanitize.class.php) on line 30 change, however, as I am running CCV6 the sanitize.class.php is different and could not find that snippet of code to change. Does anyone have a clue why the payment gateway logo doesn't display on checkout or how to fix it on CCV6?

I can't login.I keep getting the " Invalid username or password" message. I have tried to get a password reset and I am not receiving the email for it either. How do I resolve this? I have orders I need to fill!

Hi, Apologies for the seemingly weird title, but that is exactly what has happened... I'll explain - and like all good stories, I'll start at the beginning to give context and probably some useful info. 1) Back in February, I followed the instructions in this thread (started by me). Specifically bsmither's suggestion of adding textboxes under the Option Groups section - these were added as mandatory fields, and it worked great.We were capturing what we needed. 2) Recently, one of the shop admins noticed that some recent shop purchases which should've been capturing this mandatory datadidn't have it recorded. They looked into older orders, and data which had previously been there (in the Option Groups added fields) was now gone. 3) Wierder still, there are a few orders in recent times which are OK! They DO have the data captured! The only change which has been made in the shop is setting up a timezone to have it correctly aligned to where we are - Australia. I've had a look in the database, but my understanding (or lack of) of the schema / how the data is stored, and basically no knowledge of SQL didn't reveal anything - hence now posting here for help... Question... Hopefully some one has ran across this issue. I had been trying to figure out why none of my information files don't show up. Content in there. But in the front end when you try to view, say, the Privacy Policy, You only get a blank white page.. Then, a couple nights ago, a friend of mine logged on and went to view an individual product and since we were on skype at the time, he told me that all he was getting was a blank white page. So I logged in and tried several different products and sure enough, Blank white pages. Can anyone explain to me why this is happening and how to fix it??? And how do I fix it. Is Cubecart really incapable of handling PayPal recurring payments (subscriptions) these days? I note that versions 3 and 4 both have low-cost custom mods written for them, but I think versions 5 and 6 work in a different way and it appears nobody thinks this is a serious omission from what is otherwise a very good cart. I'm already deeply committed to building using CC6, so it seems counter-intuitive to re-build using an older version of CC. I'm a Cubecart newbie, so I'm quite happy to believe I may have missed something that's obvious to everyone else, but I've done a lot of hunting for this feature and found nothing. Not even other people wondering why it's not an available option! Any ideas or pointers? Thanks in advance. Will

My store has been compromised and I urgently need to upgrade. I have restored from a backup prior the the hack and now need to upgrade it. I have tested the upgrade on my development store (this hasn't been compromised), but I now have a blank storefront, unless I use Foundation skin. All other skins (any Kurouto colour, my own modified skin) just give a blank screen. For some reason I am unable to get logged into the front end of my shop and also unable to view several areas of the admin area. I had everything working great then decided it was time to make an exact duplicate of the store on my local hard drive. I fired up my ftp and started downloading. while that was going I went outside to do some stuff out there and when I came back in, all was done. I went to my browser window to log into the front end again only this time I just got a blank screen. Went into the error.log to check it out and the below error is what I was greeted with. At this point, I haven't changed anything else so I was baffled. I wanted to go to my store settings to turn on the debug mode but found that the settings page was also affected in the same manner. Couldn't get in, along with several of the other admin pages. But not all. Can someone please help me sort this out, please. Here is the error message. Hi Everyone, I have recently got an email from Paypal stating: Note: PayPal will be undertaking testing between 17 June and 29 September to prepare for the full cutover to SHA-256 on 30 September 2016. We strongly recommend that your systems be compatible with SHA-256 by 17 June to avoid service interruptions during this period. And TLS 1.2 and HTTP/1.1 Upgrade I am not sure if I have to take some actions myself and what that could be or if is a matter for my hosting provider. Anyone can shine some light on this? Hi, I am using the foundation skin (customised) on CC6 but when i view the website from a mobile phone the text is positioned right up against the edge of the screen. I assume i need to make a change to the css to get some padding in. Can anyone offer any advice. Thanks

wanted to know the way the multiple images function,for example: we are in the paint business and sell paint online,what we sell are kits since paint products always need company like thinners, hardeners,sticks strainers etc.... so, lets see this example, A=black paint B=red paint C=yellow paint and so on.... D=thinners E=strainers F=sticks and on.... D,E,F and others will always be part of the kit so if we sell black paint they will always have their company. if we sell a red the same items will be part of the red kit and so on if possible how can we display multiple images thanks Z

I was just wondering - Is it possible to add an order, or to update an order, and then allow the customer to pay for the changes using their CubeCart account. The problem we have is that some of the larger items which are shipped internationally incur additional shipping charges, we have considered modifying a shipping method to take into account the size of items when necessary but the admin overhead in doing that is large, admin would need to add shipping charges for individual products and keep them up to date .. Therefore we are considering that when we receive such an order, we will just generate an additional invoice to the customer for the extra shipping charges allowing payment by logging into their CubeCart account, obviously the customer would only wish to pay using the same method that was used to place the initial order. Is that possible ?

Well, here I go with another one.. ssl. Yesterday I installed (or rather my web host installed) ssl on my website. They also set up a Dedicated IP for my site. After eight hours I was finally able to at least get into the Admin section, but still couldn't get into the front end of my shop. Today, I decided to try different browsers and see what happens. First up was Firefox. That was a No-Go with this error: Your connection is not secure The owner of www.dunnrightoutdoors.com has configured their website improperly. To protect your information from being stolen, Firefox has not connected to this website. Next up was Google Chrome. Also a No-Go with this error: SSL requests not supported for www.dunnrightoutdoors.com The site is not configured with SSL support. Then came Microsoft Edge (Windows 10). Now this one slid right in with absolutely no problems. Abel to roam around the site, looks at different products, ect. Then came Internet Explorer. Again, No-Go with this error: SSL requests not supported for www.dunnrightoutdoors.com The site is not configured with SSL support. Now, on all occasions I double checked then the Store Settings/SSL that the SSL was in fact set to YES.. Now here, when I tried to change the http:// to https:// when I saved it, it automatically changed it back to http:// ... I don't understand what is going on with this and I almost don't have any hair left. Why would it change the https back to http? Why can I get in with one browser but not the rest? What am I doing wrong???? I really need to get this issue resolve before I'm bald. Any help any of you can give would greatly be appreciated. I run a training site and would like to use Cube Cart for the shopping cart software. I have looked all over but cannot seem to find support for multiple files on a single downloadable product. Some of the tutorials that I sell, these are all video tutorials, with presentations, notes and videos, are quite large when I break them down into files sizes of 200 - 300 MB there are sometimes a group of files that make up one product. Is there a way to use Cube Cart as the sales platform for products like this. I would appreciate any help. I currently use my own cart software that does this and have thought about writing a new one but your is becoming so popular if possible I would like to use yours. Thank you for the help. Mike

Yep. I messed up big time. I edited the index.php in my /public_html/ folder. Problem now is that I apparently deleted everything below the comments.index.php Can someone please give me a copy to replace/fix my screw-up? this one getting backed up in more than just one place along with everything else. I haven't been able to find very much at all on this after very extensive web searches. The closest I found was a topic in this forum started by rgcuby, back in 2008, but it ended with someone saying they'd found a mod, without giving any kind of link to it. I can't be the only person who's interested in this, so I'm very surprised there's so little discussion (though forgive me if I'm missing anything obvious as I'm new to Cubecart 6). I'm building a site at www.theolyn.com/cube/ that will sell (amongst other things) CDs and digital audio downloads of the same titles. Ideally, what I'd like is to show my product in the catalogue as per normal, but allow the customer to select either a physical CD or a downloadable version. Prices for each are not the same — digital is cheaper than physical — and, importantly, when checking out the cart knows that the physical version needs a mailing address and the usual shipping calculation and stock decrement, while the digital version needs to be handled without shipping or stock decrement. Does anyone know if CC6 is capable of handling products in this way? It must be a common requirement but, as I say, I've looked around a lot and can't find anything that addresses this. My alternative would be to create the physical and digital versions as separate products, but that would be a rather clunky workaround. Looking forward to some insights from anyone out there with more experience than me! Thanks in advance. Will

Hi, I am seriously concidering changing our e-commerce platform from PrestaShop to either CubeCart or OpenCart. I have been playing around with CubeCart, and so far I think I like it. The back-office is pretty straigth forward and to the point, which I like. However it need to tick some boxes before setting sail on this swap project, so I was wondering if there is an easy way to add JS and CSS files to the "Documents" section of cubecart? It it the "main.php" in the skin folder i need to add the info, or is there another more suitable place? Thanx in advance / Elviz

A costumer (friend) is trying to register with a email address like #######_######@yahoo.com.mx (# are letters and numbers) and CC6 is asking for a valid email address. The email address is not yet registered and it is not in the mailing list. He's on a mobile What can the problem be? email too long? Also the ReCaptcha is not appearing.

I'm new to Cubecart, so please forgive me if this basic question is stupidly simple, but I haven't found an answer anywhere. I've just started building a shop in CC6 at http://www.theolyn.com/cube/ and I want to make a simple link to a simple custom (static) page. Pages are apparently called "documents" in Cubecart, so I went to Admin > File Manager > Documents and hit the Create Document tab. There I made a document called Test static page, checked the Status box and gave it the URL http://www.theolyn.com/cube/test . I then see it listed with all the other documents like "Terms and Conditions" and "Privacy Policy", so I know it exists. Then, on the site's home page at http://theolyn.com/cube/ I edited the content to include a link with the URL of my new page. So there's a page with an URL and another page with a link to that URL (which is displayed when I roll over it). This should work, right? Apparently not. When I click on the link referencing http://www.theolyn.com/cube/test I get a "404 Page not found" error, even though both the page and the link to the page have exactly the same URL. (I tried it both with and without a "/" at the end and it seems to make no difference). This seems like such a simple, basic piece of page building I can't for the life of me see where I'm going wrong. What am I missing? I'm hugely grateful for anyone who can point me in the right direction. There doesn't seem to be anything on the 'net about this and I've been searching for ages! Thanks in advance. Will

Ok you Masters, I'll admit that I'm a total newbie to CubeCart and I've searched the forums for an answer. I have all my product imported into my shop. Now I've also downloaded all the product photos from my drop shipper. My question is how do I import all the images, in mass, to where they will show up in my product listings? I can do them 1 at a time in the Image File Manager but for 1900+ products I'll die of old age before it gets done. There has to be an easier and faster way to do this. What am I missing here? For some reason, of which I have no idea, when I try to go to my Admin all I get is: Not Found The requested URL /admin/ was not found on this server. I took a look at the index.php in the admin folder and everything in is was all 404 errors and don't exist.
