  2. I upgraded from V4 to V6 yesterday. I downloaded PayPal and PayPal Express from the marketplace and installed them. The standard Paypal plugin doesn't even let me edit, it just shows a blank page. PayPal express is ok - i entered my API credentials, and 'Test Endpoint' shows success. HOWEVER, on making a test purchase from my store, the following error code appears: "The following errors were detected:Error: You are not signed up to accept payment for digitally delivered goods. Transaction refused because of an invalid argument. See additional error messages for details." Help please? This so frustrating - seven years ive been running my store with happy customers. Now a barrage of cross emails from people who can't checkout. The other issue i am having is - the store skin keeps reverting back to Foundation even though I set it to Minimaliser. Also annoying!   3. I have a very small business I am starting up, while I have access to a MFG entire product line I am only stock the more popular items to start off. However, I can place orders anytime and would like a way to take backorders thru the Website. Allowing out of stock purchases is easy enough by checking the option. BUT want to be very clear to my customers that the item is not in stock and ready to ship. Instock items the cart shows the inventory levels which is great, but when it is out of stock it shows nothing at all. Someone that is not familiar with the site would never know that they were back ordering the item. Is there a way to have it notify when looking at an item that it is out of stock and can be backordered?
  4. I am using the Clean Skin (latest update), I can't seem to log in to the bug tracker the designer uses, nor sign up for a new account. So I am left to post here.... When a customer goes to their order history, they see under Delivery the shipping module used next to where it says "Track" and it is a link that says "All in one shipping" (in my case anyway). Clicking that loops the page back to where they're already at. There is no tracking number displayed. This is a serious problem as I am getting a ton of questions about tracking their packages. So much so I have temporarily replaced the skin. Below is a screenshot of the problem area. If anyone is able to help me resolve this, that would be great! Thanks!
  5. I am trying to find a way to integrate the latest "blog" posting into the homepage of my cubecart store. I use wordpress as a separate entity for users to read updates, however, there are some important updates such as shipping delays, etc. that I would like to add to the blog and display on the homepage of the store. I didn't see any plugins or anything that would allow this, does anyone else have something like this on their site?? I do not want to update my homepage doc for cubecart all the time. Thanks!
  6. Hello everyone, I was wondering if there is some way, without altering code, that Cubecart can allow the linking of merchandise to a non-inventory item. An example would be if you were selling a gear that goes on several bicycle models on the market but are not selling the bicycle itself: So you want the customer to be able to add that gear to the cart and purchase it all the while having reference to the compatible item it goes on while in the cart. I see the options matrix has potential for this but if I have 200 different bicycles that the gear fits and my supplier decides to raise the prices on me, I would have to go in and alter the price for all 200 of those non-inventory bicycles to stay current rather than just changing it under one and having it propagate to all other gear prices. Hope this doesn't sound too confusing but is there a way I can accomplish this easily?
  7. I have over 250 items in my shop with most having some discount applied. I'd like to access the database directly with sql and remove ALL discounts. Manually, if I remove the discount from one item, and click 'save', I don't know what process CC goes through to update the necessary fields in the db. Questions: If I zero out the discount field of all products in the db, will CC handle everything else automatically? e.g. recalculate the final price, remove items from the 'sale' section, etc.? If not, which db field(s) do I have to modify directly with sql to remove all discounts from all products? I really don't want to edit every item manually. Is there an easier way to accomplish this?
  8. Just an FYI, Authorize.net is updating some of their requirements for PCI compliance including the use of Akamai SureRoute. There are three new URLs that they would like people to use to interact with Authorize.net. I looked at the extension for v5 and v6 and noticed they are both pointing to secure.authorize.net/gateway/transact.dll. While this URL will remain valid, at least for a while, it is recommended to update this URL to secure2.authorize.net/gateway/transact.dll. I am going to create a GitHub issue for v5, but I noticed that the extensions were removed from the source code in v6.   10. Hi, have upgraded one and installed 1 new Cubecart in the last month both are 6.0.10. One based on foundation skin and another on an old v4 skin. On both of these I cannot successfully build a site map. I receive a message saying 'Failed to rebuild sitemap', I have seen this mentioned several times in other forums but no definative answer ? Any suggestions. Chris Coleman.
  11. Hi, My second post and I'm totally new to CubeCart... For a small set of specific products within my shop, I want to have a number of mandatory fields appear when any one of those products are ordered and on a "per product" basis, i.e. if more than any one of these products is purchased in a single transaction these fields appear for each product in the transaction. I want the data captured in these fields to be recorded as part of the order details, not the customer. My questions: 1) Which table(s) in the phpMyAdmin area would the new fields need to be added to? Any tips on some of the more unusual field options (e.g. I get "mandatory", but others?) when creating them... 2) I know I'll need some PHP coding to have the fields appear (getting that sorted) and I think it'd be best to have that occur in the "Basket" stage of the purchase. Which PHP file(s) would be the ones to change the code in? 3) It'd be great if I could have this mandatory data appear in the CubeCart Admin Control Panel -> Orders -> Overview tab - Order Summary. I'm guessing this would be PHP code changes too - again, which file(s)? Many thanks in advance.

My client has been offered the merchandising for a potentially different set of customers, and has asked me if we could create a separate Product page for this merchandise, with a different skin that has the same look and feel as their home web site. So I can see two possible ways of achieving this; either (i) have a product page that uses a different skin to the rest of the store, or (ii) specify the skin name in a query string, so that we can supply a link that looks like www.mystore.co.uk/theseproducts.html?skin=mynewskin which would then set the skin for that session. Has anybody developed this functionality? I would prefer option (ii) myself as I think the visual shock of going from one skin to another during the checkout process might put some potential customers off. Apologies if this question has been asked before, but I've done the usual searches to the best of my ability.
  13. Hello Many of the orders with successful payments on our CubeCart, have a status of 'Processing'. Some do have 'Order Complete' and I can't see any difference between the two. All of our items on CubeCart are not physical or digital good, we don't ship anything or allow buyers to download. We sell in-class courses. The transaction logs look the same, same payment gateway. What makes the order get 'Order Complete' status? Kind Regards Moshe
  14. Cubecart V6. Yesterday a person tried to buy an item. The order appeared in the admin section. No payment showed up. I contacted the person. He said that when he went to check out, his basket was empty and the item wasn't available. I only have one of the item and the inventory reflected that it was now zero, since the system thought the sale went through. I reset the inventory to quantity one. I asked him to try again, but send me a screenshot if he still had problems. See attached screenshot. This time, the ordered never appeared in the admin section, and the inventory was unchanged from qty one. He said he ordered only one. I have had no other problems like like before. Anyone have any ideas what the problem might be or how I can troubleshoot it?

My client has brought to my attention that when viewing her dresses on her dress category that when she clicks on the sort button A-Z that a dress which first word is Yumi appears first and that when she clicks on the button Z-A that it appears last. It seems as if this Dress just thinks it starts with an A and not a Y? she has other dresses with the same name and they behave, I've looked and fiddled but can't figure it out, some advice would be most grateful. http://alanasboutique.com/dresses.html
  16. I just upgraded to 6.10 a few nights ago. A customer contacted me asking if their order went through, and it did. I received payment from Paypal, and everything was good on my side. However, he said after putting in his payment information that after checkout he got a blank page that simply said "Fatal Error". I can only assume he was trying to return back to the website after payment was made. Has anyone else experienced this? I have absolutely no errors in my system or admin logs in CC and I don't believe there is a way to check error logs in Paypal?
  17. DirtyButter, Can YOU tell me how you use BeyondCompare for your upgrades? I use a MAC so a lot of the tools aren't available, but I see BeyondCompare is available for Mac. I am tired of redoing mods after each upgrade. Since I don't see changelogs anymore, what's the best way to use this BC tool?? I appreciate your help!!
  18. I had an order come in yesterday with 4 items in the cart. 2 x $8.00 = 16.00 1 x $54.00 1 x $54.00 Total should have been $124 However, the total came up $70.00 + shipping. The customer completed checkout through paypal and paid the 70 and shipping. I have since closed the store to try and find out why this is occuring. I can't see any reasoning. I do not have coupons or anything of that nature to cause this. I am running 6.0.8
  19. New Cube cart user here. I have had it loaded on the server a few days just tinkering around and learning how it works. Started entering products yesterday, got a few entered and was able to do an export of all 7 of them, worked great. Added a few more as well as background stuff like part numbers, weights, raw descriptions. I then imported and had it do a full overwrite of products. I then went into cubecart and formatted out the descriptions, added images, set categories. Now I am looking at doubling the inventory by adding a different weight of each product. I tried to do a catalog export and it is only exporting 4-5 products and a few times has said there are no products to export? I know I can do entry in cubecart, but doing base new items in a spreadsheet is so much easier since a bulk of the information is the same for every item. Can anyone help?
  20. Hi, How can I save or create Product description Templates? How can I have my own templates apear in the list when clicking the templates icon? If I click the save icon on the description creating window the product "saves" and takes me to the product list. But it doesn't save the work really and doesn't open any window to select folder to save to or nothing. I must click the bottom Save or Save and reload to save the work but not as a template.
  21. Hi everyone, I get this error when trying to checkout "Error: Security header is not valid Security error", (see screenshot below). I have tried on both sandbox and live same result. Additionally: on the checkout page there is a button for payment with credit cards which doesn't seem to be sending any data. when trying to use the button "or pay with paypal" nothing happens. Also is confusing to me that the checkout has two buttons has Paypal is the only payment we have in use. live page can be seen at: http://www.tubethailand.com/ Any help is very welcome as I am clueless of how to sort this issue.

Hi, I'm new to cubecart but have pretty good css and html knowledge and some php knowledge too, however I am struggling to find how to remove the white space between the logo image and the documents bar. Both are sitting in a class called 'row' but I cannot find it to remove the padding. It seems to change with the screen size but alas i doesn't seem to be in the @media sections either.   24. Hi - first time using CubeCartv6 had been waiting for WorldPay to complete the installation on the payment gateway and at the moment i'm in the payment gateway test mode. I have two issues that I cant see mentioned anywhere: 1, When transferring to WorldPay 'country' => $this->_basket['billing_address']['country'], should be defined as "The shopper's country, as 2-character ISO code, uppercase." this is mandatory, currently 'United Kingdom' is sent to WorldPay. If I hardcode to 'country' => 'GB' this works OK, is there a translation page that can translate the country name to 2-charactrer ISO code? 2, with https://secure-test.worldpay.com/wcc/purchase the return URL to CubeCart has the following: http://test.mysite.com/index.php_a=complete&orderKey=123456789^123456789^3043418930&paymentStatus=AUTHORISED&paymentAmount=4500&paymentCurrency=GBP&mac=aaabbbcccdddeeefff111222333&source=WP However the order doesn't change from 'pending' to 'processing' - can anyone tell me why this is?
  25. Hello I have some setup questions, I’m new to this platform and would like make some changes (if possible) so I can get rolling. 1. Search our store and advance search, I don’t need I have one product and maybe the possibility different sizes down the road. How do I get rid of it? 2. Customer reviews, is there a way to add pictures to this in a mod? Would be nice to have reviews with customers picture using or holding product. 3. Logo space is too small, if there is a way to remove search box will this free up space for a larger logo? 4. I don’t need a featured product cause I have one, when I uncheck box in admin for this it also took away latest products and I was left with the home page slider and nothing else it might have been the other way around either way, nothing on home page except slider. I want it simple, if they make it to the website they just want to buy my product. 5. Do you have to have a SSL for PayPal to work correctly? Is there a tutorial in the forum for paypal some where that has eluded me? I setup install with http: and not https would I have to re install if ssl is needed? 6. I would like to put a video on home page, is there an easy way to do this? 7. Its quite simple, I have one product that I would like for the consumer to have the ability to buy on home page without registering (or does this affect shipping) to my site, pay through paypal express checkout. Sorry for all the questions but I need to get this site the way it should be and quickly, Thanks for any advice and replying.
