Hi dear all, I try several ways to move the entire store from my actual host to go daddy and if install a fresh copy then update database, not work, creating same name database after copy entire site by Filezilla, does not work. Please help..

Call out to anyone who has installed and is using any of the affiliate plugins. I'm new to this particular area. I have been asked by my client to install an affiliate plugin so that click-throughs from an external site that result in certain products being purchased will result in a commission payment to the originating site. Sounds fair enough, I thought, so I installed the iDevAffiliate plug in,since it seems to be the most popular. so... autoinstall using the generated token, enable it in the Admin Panel and refresh the cache...... then what? I can't find any instructions on how to configure it. The "edit" link on the Manage Plugins takes me to a very thin page where I can set the status and how to log the commission; there's a mysterious field called "URL to iDevAffiliate" to complete, but no other config options. What's the deal? Do I have to sign up with idevdirect to go further? Are there any configuration instructions out there? Are there any other plugins that might be better for what I need? Any advice gratefully received. Postscript: I guess that this is related to post https://forums.cubecart.com/topic/35588-affiliate-tracking-self-contained-in-cart/ but that post degenerated into a bit of a rant about email marketing, which I can assure you I'm not in the slightest bit interested in.

How can I make my web site fill the width of every screen. It does on the smaller screen devices but the larger computer screens it still looks like a square block in the middle. I'm using Crosshatch skin.

Thanks for any Help in advance. First off, the server my site is on is an apache and it has an htaccess editor,I've used to try and redirect 46 broken links I've changed with the new cc6.0.7 upgrade. All the rewrite data is in place in the htaccess file that cubecart automatically places when built. I have around a 130 websites on this server for the past 10 years or more so I've been with them for quit some time. When I used the hatches editor for url redirect I've noticed the urls go into the public htaccess file and not the cubecart htaccess file.Ive manually placed them in the cubecart htacess and remove the 301 redirects from the public file.The company I use service from swears its not on their end and that it has to be a cubecart issue , been fighting them for 3 days off and on.here is an example what happens to the redirect 301 urls when in action....this is what shows up in the browser address bar. I need this url http://www.vintageindian.com/stickers.html to change to this http://www.vintageindian.com/patches/stickers.htmlbut it is returning in the browser address bar as this: http://www.vintageindian.com/patches/stickers.html?seo_path=stickers and it still shows up as a 404 page not found...I'm stumped if anyone can guide me through this. The techs with the company who operate the server claims the are two items fighting with each other in cubecar one is the friendly url /and conical url as though both are running together? Im not sure ive tried everything I could think of to fix...I still think its on the server side...maybe not? Thanks All Things Vintage

I'm trying to link the basket icon to the basket page in the header, I'm using the Crosshatch Skin, my lack of coding knowledge is letting me down. I can get it to work but it wants to appear left on the heading but if I get it to appear right on the heading the link doesn't work. How do I add a new term to a Phrase Group from the Admin?

Hi! I used the Option Matrix on some of my items and one thing drove me nuts. On the Product Page sometimes it would only display one of the stock levels. I later figured out that if you have two stock levels the same (both '4') that it will only show one '4'. However, using 3 levels and putting 3 different stock levels it's only showing two of them. Is there a simple fix for this? Thanks!

When I update an order status and save it it redirects me to the dashboard (If I remember correctly). However, I would like it to redirect me to the order page that shows ALL my orders (completed, processing, etc.). Is there an easy way to do this? Thanks!

Hello CC Forum, I am having an issue with our sites loading speeds and I am at a loss as to what is causing it. The page loading speed for the homepage is in and around the 5-10 second mark which is horrid. There are a few areas regards the content / external calls itself we are working on and we are confident we can get it down to 2-3 seconds, however there is one variable we cannot get around at the moment. The initial first byte time on page load can vary from 1 - 4 seconds, so I suggested to my hosting provider its time to move it over to a vps, interestingly the hosting provider advised that a VPS wont cure the problem I am having with the site that its most likely a problem caused by the .htaccess file /caching/old plugins. After some disagreement we both ran tests and regardless of what is in the .htaccess file the issue persists, in a final test to prove my provider wrong i tested a html site on same server and to my dismay the issue did not occur on the html site the whole thing loaded in under a second. We use memcache and minimal plugins, braintree payments plugin is the only 3rd party. While back i transferred from v4 to v6, and it did screw my stock , i had items out of stock and after update people where buying some stuff that was in stock,but i did not have them... Now i notice that a lot of my stuff is listed as "new" items, witch i do not sell new items, un-less i specify in the description. So my question is , how do i remove the "new" from here: and just let it all be as "used" all the time when i list something? Thanks for help!

What's the best way to save modified files when upgrading? For instance, every time I upgrade I am finding at least a handful of files I have to go back in and re-code to get my store back up and running the way I want. Most are admin dashboard/order features. I see there is never any change logs available showing what files have been edited, but I would assume that if the file has been overwritten then it had a change to it. How can I go about making the code changes as seemless as possible??? Thanks!!

After upgrading, I am still unable to save manually created orders. I tried reinstalling, still a no go. Clicking the 'save' buttons does nothing. Dead buttons. RESOLVED: SORRY, found a solution. .js file for whatever reason did not update. Working now.

hello, I have to say we are very impressed with cubecart at first glance it seems very friendly & so far is running stable so far. I have a few small issues we noticed during testing, I know I can address these but just need to get more familiar with the code structure. Question 1. With respect to "coupons" during final checkout instead of displaying the "coupon code" how can we change it to display the Coupon Description (or both) instead of the only the coupon code? Question 2: The External News & Announcements feed is causing insecure warning (when viewing dashboard via SSL) Where do we configure/disable that? Question 3: When setting up the PayPal Pro Plugin there is an option for "transaction password" under "3Dsecure" (just below merchant ID) can you clarify which password this is & is it required if I have the API setup & configured? Is there any security risk populating the 'transaction password' Can anyone elaborate on how this option effects transactions (if 3dSecure is disabled) or enabled with the merchant ID but without a transaction password? thanks in advance, Robert

It meets with Google's Mobile Device Friendly requirements, however if viewed on any mobile device in Landscape all is well, however in Portrait only half the web site is viewed. I saw an entry on the forums saying that I shouldsend an email to [email protected] and the language zip would be forwarded to me, but that email didn't work. I have the Vat No. manually added to the print.receipt.php file in the skin/templates folder and the generic print.receipt.php, but recently it has stopped displaying on the printed out receipt. Does anyone have any ideas why this should be. Has an update changed the file?
