  1. Installed and configured USPS module, got it set to USA but when I place a test order, I get the following: "Unfortunately there are no suitable shipping methods available for your order. This may be because the total weight of your order is too high or we cannot ship to your country. Please contact a member of our staff for any further inquiries." I also uploaded the module Shipping Method (Allinoneshipping module) When I click add to my cart I get the error ( Sorry, you can't buy more than we have. The first error may easy to tackle, but I am confused about the second error where it says that no suitable shipping method available for my order. I tried to resolve this error but could not because I could not find a way to associate orders with shipping method, I am using version 6. regards Sorry, you can't buy more than we have.   3. Hi, i get this message in the basket after i put anything into it: "The following errors were detected: Unfortunately there are no suitable shipping methods available for your order. This may be because the total weight of your order is too high or we cannot ship to your country. Please contact a member of our staff for any further inquiries." The plugin seems to be settled but i'm a newby into this so maybe not. What could that be and how to solve it? Thanks for every help or directions.
  4. I'm trying to set up the USPS plug-in. I must be not filling in something right. For all my products, I enter a weight. But when i try to start a transaction in the shopping cart I get the following error: "The following errors were detected: Unfortunately there are no suitable shipping methods available for your order. This may be because the total weight of your order is too high or we cannot ship to your country. Please contact a member of our staff for any further inquiries" We will be shipping vinyl stickers, shirts, sweatshirts. So, some of the products that are shipped out won't be heavy, unless the customer orders a lot.

In this case the site functions just fine, but this error message will confuse and scare people away from the site. Odd you can click the error message "off", login/register, and complete the transaction. What is missing is some text stating: In order to complete your transaction please login or register. So to clarify the error message appears as soon as you go to the shopping cart, before you have a chance you creating your shipping address.   8. I have been reading posts and searching on google to get info on this question, but so far have not found the info. Is there a way for customers to see shipping rates without their being logged in. Yes, I understand in order to get the rates the shipping companies need to know the starting address/zip code, and the delivery address/zip code. I did not see a plugin that will let the customer add in their address or zip code and country and get a shipping rate. Is there such a plugin? Also, is it possible for me to change the message " The following errors were detected: "Unfortunately there are no suitable shipping methods available for your order. Which is in my opinion unfriendly to the customer. If I was a customer and saw that message when looking to see what is in my shopping basket, I would just leave the site.   9. Have tried several of the shipping methods, i.e. USPS, Flat Shipping, and now FEDEX. USPS AND THE FLAT SHIPPING DO NOT SEEM TO WORK. Same problem with Fedex. All product have a weight but nothing seems to see the weight of the product.   10. Error log code installed on the server and this allowed the cart to show up there. It did not respond on a pending order that was already there, but when I added new product, then it came up on my tablet. "The following errors were detected: Unfortunately there are no suitable shipping methods available for your order. If you go on to the next step, the area for entering billing and shipping details is blank except for a comma under each, then the rest of the page seems to be there- but again, there is no further button to finish checkout. I was able to empty the cart. I will check the shipping methods section.

  12. Hello, I have installed the "Weight Based Shipping Module" I have set the weight for some products and set up one zone to test. When I click on checkout it gives an error message.   13. Hello, I usually use the UPS shipping module, but UPS has always been too expensive, so I wanted to use USPS instead. I went to the website and set up an account. I have all of my settings in place (I think) but again I am getting the error. Unfortunately there are no suitable shipping methods available for your order.   17. Hi, I've worked some with OpenCart before, and decided to try out CubeCart on a whim. I am very impressed with CC's admin panel, especially the product options and matrix - WOW, that is a sweet feature that blows OC out of the water! However, while testing on localhost, I've run into some show-stoppers that I have not yet been able to resolve: 1. Security alert trying to login to admin panel using Chrome: possible CSRF (works in Firefox, so I can manage for now, but why doesn't it work with Chrome?). I saw a thread about this somewhere, but don't have the link at the moment, and the contents were not helpful in resolving this issue. 2. Clicking 'Checkout' or 'View Cart' always leaves me with an empty cart when using Chrome (again, works in FF, but this will seriously impede sales when the site goes live, as lots of people use browsers other than FF). I saw this thread and changed my store timezone settings to match my actual timezone, checked the local server timezone, etc., without success, and there are many other threads with the same or similar issues, yet I don't see any open bug reports on the Github issue tracker - what's going on, and how can we fix it? 3. EDIT: See 1st reply. After installing and enabling the UPS plugin (on FF), I still receive the "Unfortunately there are no suitable shipping methods available for your order. This may be because the total weight of your order is too high or we cannot ship to your country" message when trying to check out (in FF), despite both the store and the 'customer' being located in the US and the product having a defined weight. I searched for similar issues, but all I found was someone who had failed to install a shipping module at all. I have both installed and configured one, yet no shipping methods appear to be available. This is all with a fresh install of v6.0.7, both code and database, without any plugins other than the default UK language and the free standard UPS plugin (which had difficulties recognizing that it was installed in the admin panel for a while, but deleting previous cookies finally got the settings page to load correctly instead of showing a blank page; also, it doesn't have anywhere to enter my UPS credentials, but I can deal with that later). Btw, I have Chrome configured to block 3rd party cookies as well as JavaScript, but still have issues even after adding an exception for localhost and then enabling JS globally. FireFox has uBlock, uMatrix, and PrivacyBadger plugins installed, as well as also blocking 3rd party cookies (I don't suspect that is the issue anyway), yet has none of the issues that Chrome does. I have yet to try any other browsers. Am I missing something completely obvious? I'd really hate to have to go back to OpenCart after seeing how awesome product management may be with CubeCart, but OC works right out of the box. EDIT: Btw, I've seen the knowledge thread about setting the cookie domain - mine is set to '.localhost' and SSL is not enabled (yet).

  19. Hi,I have followed this thread and got as far as #6 But the settings will not carry over to the new module. Here's what you can do if you have direct access to the database: 1. Enable the new module. It may be called Shipping (or whatever). Do not worry about making any settings. Click Save. This is in CC6 in "manage plugins." 2. Access your database and find the CubeCart_config table. I found this in phpMyadmin 3. Find the specific row that has in the 'name' column, "All_In_One_Shipping". Done 4. Copy the contents in the 'array' column. Done 5. Find the specific row that has in the 'name' column, "Shipping". Done 6. Paste what was just copied above, replacing the current contents in the 'array' column. Done Then back to admin and check the pricing is showing in the new Shipping module, yes the pricing is there, however when I open it I get the information of the general tab, thats nornal, BUT, if I click on the general tab the page goes blank , ie the tabs stay but the general info page is not there. Next, go to shopping cart, add an item and check out. Woops, no shipping pricing is presented. The error reads," The following errors were detected: and the rest of the message is generated by me (not sure how, too long ago). In conclusion, the instructions from Brian are OK, but there seems to be something missing to finalize this. Any suggestions? regards Duncan.
