In the skin's config.xml, find the <image reference="category">. It is set for 800 pixels on the longest dimension. Change this to 900. It will auto-scale down to fit the container (which is 848 px wide). Next, you will need to find the CSS rule (I do not know where it would be.): .cat-hdr-img img { margin: 0px auto 5px; } Change to: .cat-hdr-img img { margin: 0 0 5px; } This CSS change will remove the margin that the browser adds to either side of the image, in equal part, to center the image in the slightly wider container. Be sure to clear Cubecart's cache.

The developer will probably / should be releasing a new version of the skin to take account of all of the skin changes included in this recent version. However, if you are using a modified version, then that update will not automatically apply to your store and you should chat to the developer about this. If you dont make all the front end skin changes then you wont be able to take advantage of any fixes / new functionality that has been added - you may say that you dont need this functionality but it is always best to stay fully up to date because the situation simply gets worse and worse with each upgrade that is released - this is the problem with having custom changes

From what I see, the CBurst "View Product" page will show a "Swipe Gallery" if there are more than one image assigned to the product. (This is not images assigned to options.) If there is only one main image assigned to the product, there is no gallery. (The images posted above suggest there is more than one image assigned to that product.) So, there are edits that need to be made to the skin so that "Images Assigned to Options" feature will work. But not on a Gallery. I will post what those edits are soon. (There also seems to be a problem with some CSS code bleeding over into the Short Description area.)

There are three phases to CubeCart's search function (four for CC650+). For short words, the last two phases will be the only ones to find that one short word: the whole word man, or the part of the word commander. (The first phase(s) will not look for a word with less than four letters.) CubeCart's search will look at the product's Name (Title), the Product Code, and the product's description. Therefore, if the last phase was the phase that actually found something, the irrelevant product shown might have had a word with the search term as part of it contained in its description. There was another conversation on the forums asking if it is possible to have CubeCart ignore looking at the product description for the search term. That can be done, but would require a code edit. As for the strange missing products that have "man" in the Name (or Title), perhaps we can explore why that is happening.

Hm. We can see that right away CubeCart is told to use fr-FR, but the phrases are not coming from that language pack. (See Debug Messages[0]) Please examine the following and try the suggested action: In admin, Languages, take note of any actual entries in the Domain column (not the slightly greyed-out suggested examples). If there are actual entries, blank them out and Save. Have CubeCart clear its internal cache. Did anything change?

Yes, you can. Having different content implies having a distinct and separate database - or, at least a distinct table prefix (can be on the same database server).

During the running of 'setup', CubeCart makes some tests: certain folders must exist and be writable, and key PHP extensions must be initialized. For CubeCart 6.5+, PHP 7.4+ (8.2 recommended but will probably be required for CC652+), the extensions include: MySQLi, GD Image library, Simple XML parser, cURL, ZipArchive, and the MultiByte String library. The test during setup is reported as a list of Pass/Fail line items on the second page shown. Setup will not proceed to the third page if any item shows as failed. CubeCart continuously checks to make sure the version of PHP is compatible, so should PHP change versions (7.4 downgrade to 7.3, for example), CubeCart will make complaints. However, CubeCart does not do continuous compliance checks for the presence of required extensions.

In admin, Email Templates, click the language of the email you wish to edit. On the next screen, on the HTML Content tab, note that in the list of Available Macros, there is {$DATA.customer_comments}. Add this to the HTML of the email wherever you wish. I am not sure what I have done wrong, this still does not seem to work. I have even rebooted my puter. I assume somehow I am not able to "reload resources" I am off to find how to do that. On my laptop I have to press Fn button to get to function keys. When I hit Shift+Fn+F5 I get something that looks like it wants to record something likw a macro or something. I should say I am on Firefox. WORKS PERFECT!!! I had to use CTRL+Fn+F5 Now the images work as described by bsmither. I will say this is a bit tedious and hope it gets fixed in the source soon. But until then bsmither is always awesome!!!

It sounds like you may be encountering a technical issue while trying to generate a token. Without additional information, it's difficult to provide specific troubleshooting advice. However, one possible solution could be to clear your browser cache and cookies, and then try generating the token again. Regarding your question about the tracking ID, it depends on which version of Google Analytics you are using. If you are using the newer Google Analytics 4, then you would enter the g-tag number (e.g. G-0K5RYTYZ11) as the tracking ID. A Zone, for whatever purpose (i.e., having countries), but no shipping rates for that zone, will not have any rates to offer the customer to choose. Yes, the zone will match (Canada, for example), but there will be no rate available -- neither because, for any of the rates that could be supplied, none fit the conditions, nor because there are no rates at all. Thus (in later versions of AIOS), the module will try to match a rate's conditions listed in "Rest of World". So, short answer, a zone with no rates is as good as being disabled (suspended), and as good as having been deleted, and as good as not having been created at all. The point of the "Uncheck to Suspend" feature is to keep the zone with its list of rates intact, but to not use them.

An enhancement regarding Gift Cards allows: the admin to assign a collection of images to the Gift Card system. One image is the default (master). the admin to have a text editor to add more content to the Gift Card purchase page. the customer to choose an image when purchasing a Gift Card. for the additional content to appear on the Gift Card purchase page. At checkout, a small-sized image of the chosen image appears in the list of basket items. For a physical Gift Card, the card can be (pre)printed with the chosen image. For an emailed notice, the HTML content can now include a link to the image the customer chose. For example, the collection of images may include birthday, Mother's day, Winter holiday, Valentine's day, Thank You, and other themes. This enhancement is not a plugin. It involves hard code edits.

Thank you. By way of a bit of background for you. In the early stages of our online shop journey we checked out many different platforms including some of the well known names such as ZenCart. We found the setup of these other platforms to be quite difficult and certainly not as well organised and intuitive as CubeCart. The ease of setup and the organised admin area were the main reasons for us deciding to go with CubeCart, a good decision and we look forward to using it for a long time to come. For step D, be sure that the updated plugins (that needs the ionCube that works with PHP 7.4) are not enabled. Otherwise, there is still the situation of an ionCube-encoded plugin wanting a later version of ionCube that is not running under PHP 5.6. Otherwise, the above is the sequence of steps I would suggest.

Try to get back to PHP 5.6. Hopefully, you can resume store operations. If not, please add this statement, as the next-to-last line, to the /includes/global.inc.php file: $glob['safe_mode'] = true; This will have CubeCart not load any plugins. Doing this is based on the assumption that perhaps there is an installed plugin that requires the ionCube extension to PHP. That extension may still be a PHP 5.6 version. Additionally, plugins that use ionCube are coded against a specific version of the ionCube extension. So, even if the installed version of the ionCube extension is for PHP 7.1, the plugin also requires a new 'build' against that specific version of the ionCube extension. Please determine if there are any plugins by Noodleman or Havenswift that are installed on your site. If so, request updated versions of those plugins for PHP 7.4 (and switch to PHP 7.4 for your site).

In Catalogue Mode, customers are not even able to add items to a shopping basket. So, there is no way for CubeCart to log what the customer wanted. The admin can try to not enable any Payment Gateways. A shopping basket should be created and an Order Summary created, which the store owner can review and amend in CubeCart's administrative backend. But there will be no means for the customer to actually pay for the items via CubeCart.

Recently had to change the password on a friend's Outlook 2013 (which does not do OAuth like Thunderbird). Now, I have not actually done this for my development installations of CubeCart yet, but I have every expectation that this will work. What you need to do is to acquire an "app password" for your "less-than-secure" app (as Google puts it). See: https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/185833 To do this, you will need a cell-phone. In your GMail account settings page, find the Security section. Enable "Two-step Verification". (This is not as bad as it sounds.) This is only to verify that the person doing this process is, in fact, you. Google will text a code when you begin the process of generating an app password. There should now be a new option in the "Signing in to Google" section for App Passwords. Select this option. On the App Password page, choose Select App, and for the name of the app, choose something like FettleBox Store (something in one or two words to describe what you are to use this app password for). Then choose Generate. The 16-digit number in a yellow banner is what you will enter in CubeCart's SMTP Password field (the banner shows spaces between each set of four digits that are not part of the password - do not include the spaces). This is all how it worked for Outlook 2013. I expect it to also work when wanting to use GMail as the SMTP server for CubeCart.

PHP 7.2 stopped even receiving critical security updates over 1 1/2 years ago so running any site on this version is 100% not advised. You would be much better contacting @Noodleman directly via his website and simply asking for a 7.4 encoded version of them and ensuring you stay on the latest supported version of PHP Ian

In a stock install of CC6, the list of images to play in the slider is part of the HomePage document. In admin, Documents, click the Edit icon of the document shown as having the HomePage button selected. You may have an easier time of it by using the editor's Source mode. The slider is optimized to show 1000x300 pixel images.

So I think in conclusion the rich snippets work but took a little while to show in the search engine.

I would say it is not the POF module contributing to this. Rather, the 'verification code' is CubeCart complaining that the reCaptcha gadget is not agreeing with the solution provided. It might not be displaying when it should be, or the customer worked out the puzzle, but the solution is not correct. Please verify that, in admin, Store Settings, Features tab, Bot Protection section, the reCaptcha is enabled as desired. Then, assure yourself that your browser is not blocking the javascript needed to fetch the reCaptcha gadget from Google.

We are aware of these rogue blank lines appearing in the editor unwanted, but do not yet know how it happens.

We need to find out why they aren't 'sticking'. My experience tells me to first look at those settings that could possibly make the aggregate amount of content larger than 64KiB. Those settings are the Offline Message and Copyright Text. Then second, look at the error log.

What were your findings in admin, Store Settings, Layout tab? Verify that there exists a skin template named box.popular.php.

@radman420 by data issue i mean that it would appear no data (in this case Products) is been supplied to the $POPULAR variable which is used to load the popular products section. Since it appears to happen in both the Foundation and Amzin skin that would suggest that it isn't caused by the skins. All i can suggest is pop a message in Technical Help section as this is beyond a skin issue. Perhaps something went wrong during the CubeCart Update or a setting has changed. I'm running 6.4.1 with Amzin and Foundation and the popular box is loading fine so i'm not sure whats causing yours to not load since you updated.

Please look at Store Settings, Features tab, at the bottom is a Miscellaneous section. Try having "Allow physical orders even if no shipping options are available" and "Disable initial shipping and tax estimates" are checked. We ask that you confirm that each product you sell -- digital only? -- has a digital downloadable file assigned to it. If CubeCart considers all products in the shopping basket as digital, no shipping is considered.

Hi Rich, There will be an update for my skins at the weekend to cover changes in the latest version of CubeCart. As you have a modified version of the skin you can make use of the manual update guide to apply any front end updates you wish to add your site. As @havenswift-hosting says its best to keep upto date, especially with the cubecarts core script. However, ultimately that is your decision

I would be quite careful for several reasons : 1) The plugin hasnt been updated in over two years - while this doesnt necessarily mean anything by itself, CubeCart has moved on a lot in 2 years 2) It isnt just the demo site that is suspended, the whole website is suspended - this again could be a temporary oversight and may be back online any time soon or may mean a lot more. 3) There have been numerous complaints over quite a long period of time from users and many posts on these forums about not hearing back from this developer both for paid development work and also support

Hey, By default the google analytics js is conditional to cookies been accepted so if you don't use the cookies notice or haven't accepted cookies then the code won't run. Hi @captinmax Sorry for the delay for the Latest Products the only solution would be to display the "From" prefix for all products shown in that area as theres no direct check that can be made from the template. We don't have a partnership with Adyen but it's not required. They have exceptional documentation and the integration has been tested under their sandbox. Please do let us know how you get on. Where are you referring to when you say no documents on the CubeCart page? We will reach out to Adyen to see if we can get our integration certified.

Hi For the UK, it is a legal requirement (and one that Trading Standards take seriously and can and do prosecute for breaches) to show prices including VAT if selling to consumers. Most businesses if selling to other businesses would want to show ex VAT. As most websites are likely to sell to both businesses and consumers, the ability to choose which price (inc or ex VAT) is shown as default and with the ability to switch between the two is very important. There is a simple mod available for V4 stores from a third party developer but they have said they have no plans to develop a V5 plugin and anyway, I feel strongly that this should be part of core as it is a legal requirement.
