  1. I didn't mean anything negative toward you. It was just that I tried to help people who didn't understand how to fix the admin renaming situation. And my level of abilities isn't in the same league with Bsmither and others. People would have received better help here if Bsmither had been here. That's not anyone's fault - it's just an unfortunate coincidence.
  2. The timing of all the recent upgrade issues coinciding with Bsmither not being available to promptly offer proper fixes compounded poster's frustration (and mine). A formal announcement is probably a good idea.
  3. So sorry to hear your initial problem has not been resolved with 6.1.8. I can't help you with suggestions for an alternative.
  4. I can't print the Packing Slip from the Order page. I've tried 6.1.8 stock admin//skins/default/styles/print.css. Also tried stock orders.print.php and admin/sources/orders.index.inc.php. CC is sending the correct php file to the files folder. But that's where it stays, causing a domain Wordpress 404 page, not the plushcatalog error page. The permission on the files folder is 755. No error log entries. Any ideas what the issue could be? I know it was printing the packing slip before I upgraded to 6.1.8 and WordPress 4.7.5. ************************************** I've been searching and testing everything I can think of, and I have decided that this was caused by the Wordpress 4.7.5 upgrade that occurred at about the same time I was upgrading CC. I think I have a clash of the CSRF security changes Wordpress made with those made by CC. My domain has a Wordpress landing page site, and our plushcatalog is on a subdomain. ************************************* Any ideas??
  5. Great!! Please edit your original post to show this has been Resolved.
  6. I'm out of my league with this one. Did you try restarting PHP? Did you try manually installing 6.1.8?
  7. There should be some way to randomize your "Latest" products. But I'm not the one to code it. I'll do some forum searching and maybe I can find it. Sorry, but I didn't find anything in the forum that would help you.
  8. Sounds like the flag is on the USPS side. Look in the Admin Dashboard>Advanced>Request Log. Be sure to hide your USERID if you share any info from there.
  9. I left eBay many years ago, because I wanted to control my own business. That's a laugh. Google controls me and costs me money as much, if not more, than eBay ever did. Have you tried using the symbol for hyphen to see if that will satisfy Google?
  10. Yes, I just re-read my suggestion and realized it didn't make sense. Take Latest off any you don't want to Feature. Then change the wording for Latest.
  11. I had to remove the word muzzle out of titles where I was describing the color of the mouth area of a stuffed dog. They said it was related to weapons and would not allow it in Shopping. Sometimes the Google algorithm makes no sense.
  12. Use your old database and run the queries found in setup/db from your old version up to the latest.
  13. Are you upgrading from 6.0.8 to 6.1.8? Manually or from within Admin? Can you do a database backup from within your hosting cPanel and backup your files via FTP? If so, do your CC upgrade manually. There are upgrade issues that have been resolved in 6.1.8, so maybe that would work. @havenswift-hosting will be able to suggest help from a hosting viewpoint. I didn't see that Bsmither was commenting while I was writing. His comments are always better than mine!
  14. Glad you're happy with it. Please edit the title of your original post to show it is [Resolved]. Al has just recently changed the settings on the forum, so everyone can mark their own post as resolved. I had asked for it, as it was sometimes hard to tell if the issue was resolved or not, and I recently goofed on one.
  15. I think that's the tab bug that is fixed in one of the commits. I'll try to find it. https://github.com/cubecart/v6/commit/0e6819b3656ad34185b03b7b18156ca170c76d6d
  16. I tried swapping the code in content.homepage.php that creates the Latest Product section with the comparable code in box.featured.php, but it didn't work. I'm sure it can be done, but not by me. Sorry. Please add your skin to your signature, and if you upgrade CC be sure to change that, too. Thanks for making one!! It saves time. IF you're not dealing with a large number of products, you could disable Latest on all of them, enable Featured on all you want, and then use the Language setting in Admin to change the wording of Latest Products to what you want. That has the advantage that it will not make any core edits and will not be lost on upgrade.
  17. I've been on the 6.1.8 commit for some time and found it very stable.
  18. I just tried on my 6.1.8 stock test store. I unchecked the status box for one item and created the sitemap.xml.gz. On decompress the sitemap does not show the disabled product.
  19. It's an image in admin/skins/default/images/note.png. Change the color in the image or replace note.png with a new image. This will be overwritten on upgrade, but easily replaced with yours when required.
  20. Good to hear. Please edit your original post title, if you are satisfied with your edits, to show this is [Resolved].
  21. Glad you found your problem! I'm waiting to do anything manually to this site, in case anyone else gets the same issue I have.
  22. He emailed it to me for me to test, because I wrote him to say it had a problem. He said several others had done the same thing. I see v4.0 is not on his website yet, however. Here's the contact link for Daren: http://www.semperfiwebservices.com/contact.html
  23. I don't think this is what you want, but it's as close as I could find via Search. Maybe it will give you some ideas.
  24. My test store is password protected, so maybe that's why the Admin Upgrade stalled on error messages. I'm used to doing FTP manual upgrades, but since this install is stock I expected it to work. I deleted the admin_XXX files and lots of files, but they are similar to what is shown
